I remember downloading google earth 10 years ago and being blown away that I could see my house from a satellite in space. Now, it’s becoming insane, Google are well on their way on making a complete 3D HD model of the entire globe. Every building and mountain and tree and park bench. You can go anywhere and really see it from any angle you want. And to top it all it’s free to download.
With what the google earth team has achieved in last 10 years. I can’t wait to see what they achieve in the next.
Thank you google for making an amazing piece of software.
I hope all countries have 3D imagery and it would be awesome (except all countries that ban 3D imagery).
To top it all... It doesn't bloody work, either. I had Google Earth installed and worked for years - an older version (6:1) because I used map overlays that would only work on that version. It stopped working a few months ago. Tried the new version - that doesn't work either. The online version seems to be filled with big black squares whenever I zoom in anywhere. Totally bloody useless.

I remember first looking at Google Earth in elementary school, showing other kids in my class a very clear satellite picture of my old house, the house I lived in at the time. How time flies, it was so cool seeing my house and showing it to the other kids..... ahh memories. It's a very surreal feeling look at the same software I looked at when I was a kid, but with different lens...... that time I looked at it through the lens of a more naive, less experienced (but still happy) kid, and now, I am looking at the same Earth I live on, same software but with the lens of a more experienced, less naive (still happy, in some ways happier and sadder but it balances out, but I am definitely more grateful and thus a happier person than before I can tell you that because I have personally invested in my own self-improvement lol)...... it's a very otherworldly feeling, I can tell you that........ the human experience is so amazing and mystical and mysterious in the same way...... God, by means of nature and science (don't come at me, atheist and science-worshipping dweebs, I accept science, the natural sciences and all that good stuff, just with a belief in God as a cherry on top on top of all of that lol....) definitely did a good job at making it intricately and nuancedly amazing. I hope all of this made any sense to the people reading this lol, the pandemic has really taken a toll on my English, writing skills and overall self lol............ even though English is my first language lol
EDIT: I think my English is ok, but the pandemic still has taken a toll on it a bit so yah.... LOLLLLLL
