I found a much more quiet and private cove with a large driftwood tree with a natural indentation for my butt to sit on at the waters edge so I can sit with my feet in the water. Last time I went I was struggling with fear. I heard peeping and slowly turned my head and there were 5 baby ducks, looked like they were a day old. I could hear mom and eventually she came out with a limp. She eyeballed me a bit but realized I wasn't acting like a predator. I went there a few days later and they were at the next beach over and I could still see them playing in the small waves chasing all sorts of food. Those are my treasures. Your lake is so gorgeous.
