@@RosedianaEka I thought so too! She's the one who got me into Ayumi Hamasaki and Hikaru Utada. Once I found out she was Korean, she introduced me to DBSK and Shinhwa, the rest was history. K-pop fan since 2003! Appreciate the ones who actually started the Hallyu Wave and especially BoA who was the first Korean artists that broke through the barriers in Japan since the 2nd WW. More BoA reactions please!

Ok now that they have had a taste of the magnificence that is BoA they NEED to react to some of her songs! I know that her stuff probably isn't super musically interesting, but maybe a vocalists react? She is such a queen and one of the main reasons for the spread of k-pop outside of Korea.

@@Taiyorabu I began with J-Pop/Rock too. But I strayed away from Kpop when the lawsuit was annonced and even at that times it was less the artists than the songs I liked that I listened to so no prefered company. I came back recently to Kpop with the group B.A.P, BTS and some others.

I used to listen to only j-rock for like Years and saying that pop music is not for me and k-pop is not for me (lol) But then Kim JaeJoong happened with his MV "Mine" which has that j-rock estethics, and then B.A.P (my UB group) and their MV "Power", then BTS, Monsta X and so on 😂 And now im a k-pop trash for about 6 years already 😂
@@alika331 I have been listening to k-pop for approx 15 years now (gawd I'm old) and I still remember how I had to almost "talk myself into" being okay with listening to k-pop. At that time j-rock was a lot more popular and even liking j-pop was a bit of a stretch for many people in my surroundings. It still seems so surreal to see bands like BTS on tv and just knowing how many people stan them.

Dang never thought I'd see this ancient song be reacted to in this day and age :) I don't listen to TVXQ, but this song was actually quite fire, and with BoA featured in it with her powerful vocals, OMG that was amazing. I think at this point you HAVE to have them react to BoA at some point haha. Idk what (she has a huge discography obviously) and it doesn't need to be that recent or that old, although I do see you've put her new album stuff on the not react list. Maybe Only One? Hurricane Venus? GAME? Or going older, we've got No. 1, Atlantic Princess, My Name, Girls on Top, etc. Idk if any of those fit the bill to be featured on the channel, but I think she's definitely quintessential kpop. Also quintessential jpop, but that's besides the point!
TVXQ are like the emperors of Kpop - one of the most successful and well respected group to have existed. To this day I’ve never heard another voice like Junsu’s or Jaejoong’s. There are plenty of great artists nowadays but no one is on their level. Let’s not even talk about how they paved the way for Kpop entering the Japanese market bc it make me too emotional. I was a hardcore stan since 2006. My channel has followers because of them😭😭

Have to thank the father of Visual Kei, Yoshiki of X-Japan for writing SM's music around this time. The man is a musical genius. His love for classical music and heavy metal shows so much in his music.

@@kikilala9371 yeah he was working with SM around this time and thats how The Trax or TraxX was formed through a collaboration with Yoshiki. He wrote Tri-angle for almost all of traxx's songs( up until Rose left, then other members left) . Don't Don for super junior.

The problem with BoA' s songs is they tend not to be very complex, and they don't usually react to simple songs on here because the reactions aren't that interesting to watch.

As a big visual kei /jrock fan I loved this song. Also I'm a fan of TVXQ, Boa & The Trax so :) I do admit its all over the place but its a guilty pleasure. (though they should have gotten an actual visual kei stylist to style them cause some of those looks... lol)

I remember when a decade ago I discovered Mirotic by chance and I said "Wow, I think I'm in love with this group, I'm going to look for more videos", and this was the second one I saw, my reaction was 6:26 , confused, confused, CONFUSED, 🤔😲🤯😵 😵 What did I just watch? Then I continued with Rising Sun and 'O - 正. 反 .. TVXQ, the one and only KPOP act to really incorporated acapella into their music (Well, now EXO is their successor).. They owned the title as the best group with the best vocal abilities and intense choreography.. Most importantly, they sang completely live with those insane choreography.. Plus, BoA, is the best KPOP female soloist ever.. She started her career roughly and gained a huge success since she was very young.. TRAXX is an underrated rock band that SM never bothered to promote well... This is it young KPOP fans.. This is the classic and golden era of KPOP..
I actually think that you guys will be more fascinated with 1st and 2nd Gen Kpop, when it was less known and existed on a plane of its own. Magical times!

Another absolute classic is TVXQ's Bolero (5 people version). It's incredibly cinematic, their voice harmony was beautiful and the orchestra was phenomenon also. Also I promise they sang in the right style 😂😂😂
I was initially so confused as my brain tried to wrap around this fusion of visual kei/punk rock/90s pop boy band/KPop with a heavy seasoning of Mozart XD
As a fan of visual-kei, I think my brain was trying too hard to assess the visual-kei influence side, but the harsher metal-styled section with the screaming worked well for me - TVXQ will always be true KPop legends, and I was very pleased with that metal section :D

wow this was so many years ago. When i found Triangle i clicked on it bc BoA was in it and i remember being so confused and shocked bc of the sound like I had never listened to sth like that before then and not to be dramatic but when BoA sang it was like seeing the light lol

This is great! it's one of the comebacks I first remember as a fan, and I love that they are reacting to it. I would love to see some more classic TVXQ, especially their ballads, a cappella stuff, and things like Rising Sun and O. I think Tri-Angle helped bring in the idea that kpop can be mashed up different genres and styles.

Thank you so much for making them react to the legendary TVXQ!!This year I'm celebrating 10 years since I know them, I still remember how happy I felt when I listened to Mirotic for the first time and saw 5 sexy and handsome boys dancing that cool choreography, then I listened to purple line, the way you are, tri-angle, o jung ban hap, but thought "I like their music but they must be just an image, they'll will suck live" Then I saw their mkmf 2008 performance and I realized they were the group I was waiting for, then listened to bolero and love in the ice (japanese version) and bam! I become a fan, I love them just like the first day, many things and controversies had happened but them as a group of 5 were perfect, the most perfect kpop group to me and I'm thankful I was part of the amazing Cassiopeia and enjoyed 1 year with them as a group. I love my DB5Q and miss them so much.
This might actually be my #1 favorite kpop song of all time ngl... It was the song that introduced me to Boa and Trax, nearly 10 years ago, and it's still one of the best songs ever created imo!!
