Hey everyone! Seen a few comments about the new editing. We fired marcus Jooookes! We’ve been wanting to make the style abit more cohesive for a while so we all got together and spoke about how we can make it more our style, less hectic, cleaner and organised while keeping Marcus’s edits in also! And this is a kind of practise version!
My grandma for my 16th birthday got me a fake Chanel purse which she thought was real. I wasn’t going to tell her it was fake because that would be rude. But seeing her smile as she told me how she got it for a huge deal in Chinatown was beautiful. She was tearing up as she told the story. And that was a present all by itself. She had been down because the previous month my grandpa had passed away. And seeing her light up was absolutely beautiful. I know it sounds cheesy, but that was one of my fondest memories of her. Everytime I went to her house I wore it and seeing that big smile warmed my heart. I am 32 and I still have the purse it sits on my shelf next to a picture of my grandma and I on my 16th birthday. I miss her so much.

Although I don't encourage buying fakes but in your case, I would have done the same. I truly value gifts from people whom are dear to me and that have taken the time to get something they think I would like. No matter what the cost (cheap or not). I would not have the heart to break it to her. No harm in cherishing your dupe because the giver was someone you love. 😊

This guy walked into my class wearing what I thought was just another boring NT jacket, but upon closer inspection, saw that his jacket said The South Butt. Still can’t get over what an absolute icon he was. Best knock off I’ve seen in my life.
Re the editing… in my humblest of opinions, the twin vids are where I come for the chaos and general ridiculous, fun content and editing. Your individual channels are where I go for the more sensible, non chaotic content ! Both brilliant in their own special way, but the twin channel editing ain’t broke… don’t fix it dudes

We went to a lot of flea markets/swap meets when I was a kid so I had quite a bit of "swap meet Louis" back in the day. My favorites were a pair of sunglasses that were Coca-Cola, but if you looked closely they said Caca instead of Cocaand some permanent markers that were Shoupie instead of Sharpie
I've owned the real version of that VW necklace and other jewellery from them and its just overpriced junky costume jewellery anyway. However I've also worn a real Rolex and it was the most beautiful thing to ever be on my body and I will dream about it forever 🤣
I agree with the Twins that metal watch bands can pinch arm hairs. Ouch! Also, the rotating bezel's function on that watch is a countdown timer. I have those on a couple of my watches.
Honestly, I 've had quite a few Viv pieces come my way (I'm a vintage and antique costume jewellery trader) and I just don't know that modern high end costume is worth spending the money on. It's not real silver or pearls etc so like, don't do anything illegal but also.... I got an Amazon 40oz Stanley knock off and I'm delighted with my tea lasting all afternoon for half the price of a Stanley. 10/10 recommend. Tea i made at 2pm today is still warm enough to not be gross at 8pm. As always, love your work. Will watch the rest of the video unopinionated now.

Even if cared for properly old stuff just holds up better. Just get high street costume, same quality, fraction of the cost. Save your big spends for actual precious metals and stones.
I got my knockoff cup at Walmart, it glows in the dark, it keeps my drink cold with ice all day long (I work outside in the heat) and it was the best $5 I spent on a cup😂

I knew it was a fake I got it on Poshmark for like $45-$50? It was listed as a fake so nobody was misleading about it. I literally don’t care about designer anything I just bought it because I need everything yassified and I liked the little cherries. So I bought the wallet with the cute little cherries and I regret nothing.
