I love how the first two games are “here’s a deck you thought was gonna be pure aggro but is actually control later on.” Shoutout to Roffle for not getting tilted for game one.
I definitely was titled though.
That warrior should have run 2 DMH for anti fatigue, also augmented elekk for bombs that synergize with DMH as well

For anyone wondering, Poison Seeds destroys everything (ending persistent effects), then triggers deathrattles (hence mechathun works), then spawns 2/2s, and finally summons reborns.
Yeah so it would have worked, thats what I was thinking. And even if the 2/2s would block the Hadronox, your opponent is left with nothing but 5-6 cards in hand while you get to draw the N'zoth and dig further into the deck for the snapshot, etc. It was an easy decision imo to just outvalue the opponent no matter how the effects queue up
Actually, persistent effects last until after deathrattles trigger. Baron Rivendare will trigger deathrattles twice for example.
@@GaussianEntity I think you're thinking of some cleave interaction in bgs or something? I don't have a specific example, but checked the wiki which says "However, if he dies at the same time as a minion with a Deathrattle, the Deathrattle is not doubled". You may also be thinking of a deathrattle triggering which kills the baron, as then the doubling will still happen if I understand correctly.
@@TheEliteJohan I literally had this example happen yesterday with a Baron and a Mine both destroyed at the same time with Poison Seeds. It's also a pretty common interaction in Tonk Hunter if you have Baron or Necromechanic along with Tonk. The Druid will take 16 to the face which is almost always worse than just leaving it alive.

17:34 Normally, Twitch Chat is dumb, but I genuinely think seeds was correct. While you lose value with Hadronox, you keep your other Nzoth, and deny them from getting value with it when their deck is empty. I might be missing something important here, though
I think you're saying that because you have the benefit of hindsight. He didn't misplay
The chances of the opponent taking the snapshot was very low. But if that was the only way he could lose from there, he could have considered taking measures to prevent it. It wasn't necessarily a misplay, just trusting his luck and failing.

Seeds would've prevented *one* of those draws... and that one just happened to be the snapshot

Holy fuck if the first opponent got some “divine” help….. I almost threw my phone against the wall when watching that disaster
It's so strange, that aggro has enough draw and there's enough crazy effects that you can play an aggro plan early and then somehow turn into a control match later
It's almost like decks are recently multiple classification and not more rock-paper-scissors... I mean control used to lose to OTK and ran ot of resources, now they are full of disruptions and infinite generation. Every meta deck can put out some completely unfair shit and win from an empty board.
thats just rogue imo. rogue has really good adaptability since it can generate so much value
It's a spectrum. Slightly greedier decks win but if you go too greedy the aggroy deck kills you before you get going.

This isn't a usual case and even if you do try this, people can actually punish you for this.
You could win the first game killing Tony with the seeds, he will died in the next 3 turns, instead you give him 2 turn more of steals and that was gg.
Yeah it is death-rattle first for the seeds. I remember at one point where it didn't work like that and you could combo it with explosive sheep. I don't remember if that was a bug or intentional though.
I can see how that first game is utterly tilting, but I do like it when a deck can pivot in game plan. Like Rexxar of old. Could go full face hunter and then Rexxar can change it to a value game.
I really don't like this about modern Hearthstone. Back in the day decks had actual weaknesses, but now every deck has tempo, value, and damage outs.

What others do who are content creators, is create content in advance, and have it uploaded on a schedule while they're on vacation. It keeps up viewer retention while away.
Yes, that's what I do too. But it creates a period where I'm working twice as much ahead of the vacation, hence the stress. It also doesn't work as well with the regularity Hearthstone balance patches and the expectations of its viewership. If there's an expansion or patch during my planned vacation, all content for that period immediately becomes outdated.

Do you think embiggen has a place in these big taunt druids? I understand it's not good enough here, but perhaps in a deck that cares about cheating them out?
That opponent in the first match was the absolute definition of a 'piss ant' and had the most absurd luck I've ever seen.

That first game was everything wrong with HS win through spamming 1 card as much as possible and expect that to carry you to wins I would have been very annoyed by that one
The first opponent showed how bad hearthstone is atm. Random isn't fun and never was. Unless you are into gacha
The first opponent didn't have random effects. The only bit that was "random" was what cards they pulled from Roffles hand, and what they drew off of Roffles deck while the Tony was in play.
Random is exactly why HS is alive after all those years and why other card games are bad. People like to win, even if a random roulette says so. Skill is secundary.
Don't like to see lose videos.
