I always think about their TMA performance where Eternal Sunshine went into Deja vu with the sound of breaking glass. It's one of my favourite performances, in San's fancam especially, he had some pretty sinister looking smiles like he was just pretending to be happy in Eternal Sunshine, and we all know he thinks a lot about his expressions so I don't think it was random.

my theory for the eternal sunshine video has always been that they're in strictland, but they are high off of the yellow gas from the fireworks video and are just imagining the whole "eternal sunshine" world that they were in. carlos is so freaking smart, i wouldn't have caught half the things he brought up lol.
I just wanted to let you know there are diary entries in each of the fever albums, so in fever pt.1 & 2 as well. So these entries are a little later in the story, so if it was a little confusing that is why
eternal sunshine at Hongjoong’s rap a mobius strip is mentioned so it kinda goes with what you guys r seeing about them living in a loop or being stuck in this world

Thank you for this I've just finished watching all your adventure series and it's was so much fun and exciting to watch you fangirl and talk about theories, it's my favorite thing!😍 And it was great that Carlos knows all those movie and book references so he can catch things quickly!
Like that one thing it got you teared up, more I noticed he got right but won't spoil.
Okay not entirely sure if this is spoiler since he watched already so this is for you only I think? Hopefully I'm not spoiling for you too but I'm talking about references ><
He was right with Equilibrium being direct inspiration for them(I'm surprised he didn't mention the speech direct from the movie at the beginning of Rythym Ta performance or when you were reading the book talking about the emotions and all, that's all from the movie too!) Also from Money Heist :)
Oh and he is right, Eternal Sunshine is inspired by that movie, which also Hongjoong mentioned being one of his favorite movies before!
They have some scenes similar to the movie like when he is dragged in the train, and specially with his hair color and the seasons I'm pretty sure Hongjoong represents/is inspired by the female protagonist Clementine! Highly recommend looking more about the plot and the color analysis you will be surprised👀
Changing topic, I wanted to answer some questions of the reaction of Pirate King! I'm probably missing more things I wanted to say but anyways xd
So, about the reason why they chose this concept Eden, on their reality Code name is Ateez said this:
I'm looking forward to the dream of Ateez going into the big world, that's why I thought of Pirate king. This is a song inspired by a boat, It's supposed to have an "Everyone let's go" feeling, a song mainly composed by musical instruments, so your inspirations, a fun interpretation of moving towards them. These are the things I wanted to emphasize on.
And remember Carlos asked about Hongjoong big earring that close up in Treasure?
It's the letter Yaz(Z) from the Tifinagh alphabet and symbolizes the Free man, which is the meaning behind the word Amazigh, North African indigenous people that some incorrectly known as berbers (has derogatory origin tho some reclaimed it).
An atiny said this that I also noticed but with their words: "also think it somehow fits ateez’s concept well, the free man, but also a people known as barbarians or pirates, there’s a lot of history here that ateez has used well (but with respect, which I appreciate)"
It may could have just been an homage and respect for the culture while they were there, or it was on purpose as well but isn't it so cool??
Also the the Z letter like Atz and the other dimension name and the fact they are chasing freedom🥺🥺
Ah wait I forgot this is important!! You guys missed some things to watch before this!
First would be the Fever pt 2 Concept teaser 1(the one with the celebrate outfits) and specially Concept teaser 2 with the narration!
And even more important, you started reading the diary book of part 3 but missed part 1 and 2 diary books, they are a must!🥺 Oh and Fever pt 1 does have repeated things of the Diary Film you watched but there are some important details there aren't mentioned on the film so it's important to not skip that one, and in Fever pt 2 answers some questions you had from 3.
And when done, I think it would be nice to re-read/reviews all diary books together in a row bc alone they are already confusing sometimes and the order confuses as well, I had to re-read various times to understand and process the info together!😵
Aside that, Ik you said Aurora didn't seem relevant for the story but it is👀 Bc of the scenery and season, certain close ups and an object I personally believe is important but we don't know yet and overall that is also tied with Fever or 2?
But well for this moment in the storyline it may not be that important? So idk
And for other things, we should pay attention to the lyrics as well, including the b-sides! They tell us lot of clues and I remember Joong saying once if we read the lyrics from the albums(like Treasure EP 1) from beginning to end and in order we should be able to piece together the storyline! Also they did say in Showterview they have to think of their worldview to write the lyrics first, like some it's not their actual thinking or from personal lives so yeah another thing to pay attention :')
Anyways, I'm so excited to see next parts and for next albums, it's going to awesome!!😍
Okay I'm here, my gawd this is so UHGUIHEHKEJDFS I'll be fine it will be fine don't worry I won't write an entire monologue about Deja Vu like I do every single time that I hear it but before I watch the reaction I just wanna say that this was my first comeback (I know, shocking) so it has a very special place in my heart, even though my Jongho was out with a knee injury. I'm glad that he was still a part of the MVs even if he couldn't dance, he is always amazing no matter what... but anyway yeah, this was my first comeback, I got into them probably halfway between Fever 2 and Fever 3 and Deja Vu was an INSANE first comeback with the amount of attackage I was experiencing right off the bat, but I'm so glad that I found them even if it wasn't earlier on in their career 🥺❤
Starting off, just the fact that they are in an underground hideout under what I assume must be strictland is so cool I love how they incorporate the location of the storyline in those details even when the MV isn't particularly storyline heavy. Even just that beginning shot is making me think of things that are connected to the cb that is about to happen, I don't want to spoil anything in case you haven't seen the track teasers or read anything about what is happening with Outlaw so far but its so cool UGH I'm so excited to see how everything ties together.

Okay but fr Carlos is making me wanna watch The Matrix, maybe it can give me more insight into Ateez storyline (like when Sopes nearly attempted to read The Holy Bible for TXT's storyline with the Temptation and whatever else idek) I feel like I should have already seen it by now but idk where to watch it, I'll have to look it up... I love Eternal Sunshine as a song/MV so much just cuz its like a breath of fresh air in the midst of all of the crazy dystopian pirate anarchist chaos and like- we get to see them all smiley in an MV and stuff and it just makes my heart so happy 🥰 AAAAAND I'm crying over Jjonggi already this is great 😭😭😭😭😭
Okay is the city that they show out the train window Strictland? Like is this like... the future that they want for Strictland?? Or is it like a different dimension where everything is how it is supposed to be? What if Eternal Sunshine is a pocket dimension of Eternal Sunshine where Strictland is Chillland and its always bright and happy? Idk I'm just saying stuff cuz I wanna be a Smartiny/Theorytiny but then theres the scene at the end like wtf is that I just- UGH THIS IS SO FUN BUT ALSO MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY DRAINING idek Carlos says a lot of stuff that either makes sense or breaks my brain and idk how to process it 😭 BUT WHAT IF THE SNOW IS ACTUALLY ASH LIKE IT WAS IN ANSWER AND IT GOT INTO THEIR DIMENSION WHEN THE CROMER BROKE AND THEY'RE LOOKING AT IT LIKE THEY'VE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE SO LIKE SOMETHING BIG IS COMING TO THEM idk I'm gonna shut up 💀
Wow I've never thought about how its only them in Eternal Sunshine like there is a whole city out the train window and they're dancing in a CLOSED train station and there is literally no one else in any of the locations that they are in... why are y'all getting me spooked from ETERNAL SUNSHINE 😭😭😭😭😭 my gawd there is so much happening like I'm gonna need them to make a full film trilogy of their storyline when its all done (which I never wanna think about but like-) or idk like the writers behind this gotta write a full dystopian novel series I would be SO into that- AND A WEBTOON LIKE TXT AND ENHYPEN AND &TEAM HAVE FOR THEIR STORYLINES I NEEEEEEEED THAT SO BAD 😤
Man that intro from the Diary Version really sounds like the book I read last year, the one I was talking about in my comment on your reaction to the Outlaw Trailer. I love dystopian literature, its so interesting... the science fiction in dystopian literature like this always has something called The Point of Dysrecognition which makes it easy to separate science fiction from what is possible in real life, which would probably be the whole multiple dimensions thing, but the AI thing is spooky at the a base level that they seem to be using it. There haven't been any androids so far as far as the MVs go, but maybe they might introduce that later... idk I'm just pulling from my knowledge of the literature and probably boring anyone who reads this (which will probably not be many because I am insane) ANYWAY moving on.
I'm reading along with you from my Diary Version and istg I get chills from each segment. I love this so much... I don't have anything really to say about these, I just like taking it in. Its funny cuz you would think I'd be into analyzing it deeply and talking it out considering that I major in English, but I much prefer reading and contemplating silently so I'm gonna shut up for the rest of these hehet
Well... I cried through all of that... 😭 It has been a while since I read it... knowing everything that I know now... it's intense... I really need them to have a webtoon or a novel... I've never been this invested in a storyline before- I mean, they are my ult group after all but I mean before that. It's just so cool and I'm so happy that I'm following them on their journey... and you and Carlos on your journey, this just continues to be so much fun. If you couldn't tell by my monster of a comment under each reaction, I am so invested in this its not even funny UGH I LOVE ATEEZ SO MUCH 🤧❤
