This was a very big pleasant surprise to all Koreans (whoever is aware of this) in Korea because no one expedted them to speak Korean at the White House. 🙌👏

A: Both expressions are correct, but they mean slightly different things. I discuss this in my book Woe Is I.
“In behalf of” means “for the benefit of” or “in the interest of.”
“On behalf of” means “in place of” or “as the agent of.”

But how life changed for them, from becoming popular domestically and then internationally to now speaking on essential issues beyond just music - being here in the White House and making use of their platform- I can't imagine how they're feeling. We need to live and celebrate our uniqueness, and at the same time, learn and respect everyone else’s differences. Society have held a lot of people back because of their perceptions and biases, and oftentimes, people sit back and do nothing about it. Worst, some will even glorify this kind of thinking and behaviour, and weaponize it. We have to stop this vicious cycle.

I feel like after this, some hearts were changed and I'm really happy about that and the fact that BTS even got the chance to do this but also... I don't think everyone's hearts were changed. Some may have been moved but not changed. I don't understand why people hate on other people just because of an nationality. Like what's the point? We are all equal! It doesn't matter what our nationality, skin color, or religion, people shouldn't hate on someone just because of that. So I'm going to be forever grateful that BTS was able to do this and be able to change some people's hearts and mindsets about Asian hate. 고마워 BTS. ARMY는 널 사랑해!

People refuse to understand we are all made of bones, flesh and blood and are bound to die and rot away. Why waste your short time alive to hate on people. Spread love and change atleast one life for the better. You don't have to be as famous as BTS to be a great individual 💜.

You may not be in favor of BTS music or kpop genre which is totally fine but one characteristic that we should all admire of them is being a true respectful role model as a celebrity/social figure. No toxicity. They have been striving so hard to use their influence in the most positive direction. That is why I like them.
