I am thoroughly enjoying watching your journey. Cinda you are the brightest light (me referencing your motto shine on 😊). My husband and I have done part of the loop from as far north as Virginia Beach and as far south as Savannah. Have done some of Florida as well, but haven’t connected with where we left off in Savannah. We are one of those small trailerable Ranger Tugs. I know how hard it is and how little rest you seem to get while boating. There always seems to be something. However, back to you guys. I love y’ll. What a sweet little family y’ll are. Thanks for sharing the journey with the rest of us.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment!!! We buddy boat (who you will meet in future episodes) was a Ranger Tug so we have a special spot in our hearts for those cool boats! Thanks so much for watching and for taking the time to make such a sweet and encouraging comment. Welcome aboard!
I was out overnight on my little 22 foot C Dory cruiser. I did 70 nautical miles and really felt like I had done something.😂 Played cards, listened to music, had some good convo, and caught a few fish along the way. Isn't it fun to be a little adventurous in life? God bless you guys as always. Thanks for making me laugh and although sometimes you make my cheeks hurt from laughing, I will always forgive you. 😋
As always, you win the nicest award! We are so glad you get our humor. Lots more laughs to come. And your adventure sounds fabulous. 70 nautical miles is no small feat. So glad you had a great time!!!
I live in Bluffton (just outside Hilton Head) and we've been all up and down the coast, so this was fun to watch. Beaufort really is the prettiest little town but nothing (for me) can beat the beauty of Charleston.
LOL. We agree! And docking at a new marina every time makes it even more challenging. But I guess that is part of the adventure. Thanks for watching :)
got married in beaufort sc lived in lexington mass for 45 yrs. now live in conway sc. love beaufort my parents lived there so we got married there to save a ton money . many memories some good some sad . love conway and our new home ,have a safe journey . on the water for many years out of boston harbour , ready to go back to the icw in the warmer waters .
Sorry Admiral, Capt Mark is right, it’s Beaufort. My family used to vacation there every summer out on Harbor Island. Y’all are so fun to watch and love Capt Mark’s special announcement voice is hilarious.Y’all’s next stop after Beaufort y’all will be in my neck of the woods.
LOL my dyslexic brain has difficulties at times and this was clearly one of those times. Glad you are getting our humor and laughing along with us. Glad to have you on this adventure with us. The occasionally challenged Admiral :)
FIRST AND FOREMOST LOVE WATCHING YALL, AND GLAD YALL ARE DOING GOOD ! ( I know that these are from a while back). Anyway I fill bad for you (Being so STRESSED OUT all the time ) feel that you probably miss a bunch of things because of it. I AM SURE FROM THE VIDEOS THAT YALL HAVE PUT OUT MARKE HAS YOU'RE BACK N YOU DONT NEED TO STRESS SO MUCH ! Anyways love the videos and PLEASE DONT TAKE THIS AS ANY KINDA CRITICISM ( IF SO I AM TRULY SORRY ) JUST WHAT I AM SEEING! KEEP RHE VIDEOS COMING!
Thankfully my stress level did not keep us from doing anything -- I did not let it win. Living on a boat with kids is stressful and there is no way around it. But we pushed on and things got less stressful as we went. Thanks so much for joining the adventure!
Are you any relation to the Boomershine auto dealer from Atlanta? I remember seeing that dealership's badges on many cars when I was in college in Athens. Beaufort is one of my favorite cities anywhere. My first trip there was in December 1974 and I was smitten by the place at the age of 13. In my opinion Beaufort has all of the history and charm of Charleston without the insane tourist crowds and exorbitant pricing.
Cool! You're getting in to my neck of the woods (Chesapeake/Norfolk VA). If love to meet up with you guys and pick your brain when/ if you're up this way. My plan is to do the loop when I get older. Either way, I live the channel.
So glad you like our channel! Sadly, we have already been thru Norfolk or we would have loved to have met up with you. Thanks for the sweet comment and invite :)
These episodes are not real time. We couldn't manage to do the loop, work, teach school, have fun AND edit all at the same time. So editing had to wait until now. Hope that is OK with you :)

Beautiful Beaufort By the Sea.
Often the R in Beaufort is silent. (B'youfoot)
It really is!

Charleston is incredible! We have been many times by land so we skipped stopping there by boat. Looking back, I wish we had stoppedl
Beau-fort as in beau-tiful. After boating for 50 years, i would say docking is probably the hardest part and i dont have current to deal with.

I bet your wedding in Beaufort was BEAUTIFUL!!! We loved it there. Enjoy the ICW. You live in a beautiful area.
Sorry to have missed you all in our home town of Beaufort (Bee You Fort) glad you made it to our small town, safe travels
We LOVED your home town -- even if I had difficulty with the name LOL
Another great episode!
Thank you :)
Beaufort is a french name and as french Canadian, that it's prononce bow-for or Bo (Derek) for.

@@cullendarling7916 Thank you! And safe travels to you too once you start your loop.
Are you guys posting in real time?
I think 13-14 months behind ?
