There is an error in your quiz, question 39, Abbey Road was in 1969 and Let it be in 1970. Abbey Road wasn’t the last album, it was Let it be. But we still like your quizzes.
Hey Thierry (cool name) They actually recorded ‘Let it be’ before ‘Abbey road’, but released it after, so ‘Abbey road’ is the last album they recorded together. It’s maybe a bit of a trick question, but it is something a lot of Beatles fans will know. Thanks for the feedback, gonna post a new quiz this afternoon! 👍🏻

Hey Patricia, 'Let it be' is their last album, but the question was the last album 'recorded' together. They actually recorded ‘Let it be’ before ‘Abbey road’, but released it after, so ‘Abbey road’ is the last album they recorded together. Yeah it was close, I think there was problems with the final production of 'let it be', so they abandoned it and moved on to 'abbey road'. Phil Spector was sent the recordings, he produced 'let it be' and by the time he sent it back, the beatles had recorded/released 'abbey road' and split up! What were you doing at the Apple building? You meet any Beatles?

In case you're wondering......Lake Superior is not in the United States. It shares roughly 40% of it's shoreline with Canada. Lake Michigan is entirely within the United States.
Lake Superior is the largest lake in the US. Although, granted not entirely within its borders. If I put Michigan as the answer, I believe I would get many more comments saying 'actually it's lake Superior' (Because it is ;)). If the question was something like 'Whats the largest lake entirely within the US?' the answer would be lake Michigan. Thanks for the feedback! Hope you enjoyed the quiz :)
I understand about the comments that you would get if you put Michigan, but I have to agree with OP. How can you say that Superior is the biggest lake in the USA if it is not in the USA? It's in 2 countries. Is the part of Superior that is actually in the USA bigger than the area of Lake Michigan? Then I would agree.
I guess the problem is with the question...it should contain the "entirely".
@@jomojojo6603 Lake Superior is the largest lake in the U.S and it is also the largest lake in Canada. If I did the question again I would maybe put 'North America' instead of 'U.S'.
Lake Superior is 82,100km2 and 53,350km2 of it is in the US. Lake Michigan is 58,030km2. But if I meant Michigan I would have specified 'entirely within the U.S'. Thanks for the feedback!😁👍

Knowing random shit doesn't mean you're smart.
It means you know random shit.
Being smart is being able to figure things out. I know a lot of people that can barely spell their name who remember a lot of trivia and do great in Pub Quizzes. I also know PhD's who don't bother with generic trivia and fail hard at these kinds of quizzes.
Knowledge and intelligence are very, very different things.

10 misses. But, the god of thunder is not Thor. That is the comic character. Tor, without the h. That is the correct spelling of the old asa god. Not Thor.
I'm pretty sure Tor and Thor are the same guy, just that Thor is the anglicized spelling of Tor. If you are from a Scandinavian country, (i'm guessing from your name you probably are) you spell it Tor instead of Thor. I think the pronunciation is the same, so the H is silent anyway. In the UK/USA the comic character and the Norse god are both called Thor. I don't know why this is, but I can see why you might find it annoying! :)
@@Quiz-Town this is just for fun. I asume you know how pronounce Thor in English. That’s very different from how Tor I pronounced. I try to explain. If you pronounce the T as you do in the name Tom. Then you do the O as in Pool. End it with the sam R as in Thor. There you have it.
And yes, Thor is based on Tor, of course and I’m from Sweden. My name means The Peace/Protection of Tor. Now you know😄
These are almost all iconic and first rate GK questions. I missed one, and that I should not have. I won't dwell on my error where - er - I answered Portugal and not Spain. ... I slipped .... idiot!
Since you apparently welcome comment, I found three poor GK questions (that I happened to be able answer correctly).
The Golden Girls is not remotely a worthy GK item.
The specific 1970 World Cup winner is a silly GK question.
Garfield's liking for lasagna does not belong in a good GK questionnaire.
Most popular music or sports achievements do not become general knowledge. There are many exceptions: Practically anything about The Beatles has clearly moved into general knowledge, and much about Glen Miller, and some about Buddy Holly. Although she is a wonderful singer, nothing about Katy Perry is "general knowledge" EXCEPT her invitation to hear her roar!! This is a huge sign of the time and women's extraordinary role in it ... to wit, when commenting about it, they have freely chosen to focus on the noise they make. I think this is significant! Btw, this is the second time this same focus has been chosen.

I agree the golden girls question was a bit of a stretch and is probably the worst out of the 50.
The 1970 world cup is considered to be the most iconic and the Brazil team that won it are thought to be the greatest national team of all time. Like yourself, I wouldn't normally consider a specific world cup winner as a good GK question, but to me the 1970 WC really stands out as being a bit memorable.
Coming up with so many suitable questions is quite tough. If I know the answer, it seems too easy and if I don't, it seems too hard. But I feel like I'm getting better at it. 👍
