It's not that crazy, the exact same thing happened to me. I had to play with my headset backwards from when I got my first headset in MW2 all the way to AW. You'd be surprised how easily your brain adapts, if I tried to wear my headset the right way everything sounded backwards.
Whoever thought of this is a genius LMAO. Also might help if instead of moving the player cam/boxes around it just keeps the order but makes the current box bigger.
I thought about that too, but the focus would battle with either the gameplay or player. I'd prefer the gameplay because symmetrically it makes sense to keep the current player on the top right.
