Alan Jackson, is a giant rabbit hole of Country Music to go through! This is the story telling music, mostly true from the singer/song writer about their lives or, tribute's to other's they have known! Thanks for sharing and, don't feel bad if you cry, you won't be the first man or woman that cry when these songs touch our heart's!
Harri a lot of reactors out there but I’m always drawn back to you . Feel like we re kindred spirits
Beautiful song for his wife. His singing and song writing is phenomenal. He and his song are definitely soulmates♡♡
I am setting here with my wife of 51 years. This made me cry. Thinking of all the love and blessings. We have two daughters, three sons, and six grandchildren. God has blessed very very much.i am not afraid to shed tears of joy, I think 77 years will do that to you.
Yes this is a beautiful song
Alan writes beautiful ballads, two are tributes. One is "Midnight in Montgomery" in reference to Hank Williams Sr, another is "Where Were You" in memory of 9-11. Chills from both! ❤️🙏😇
My dad bought this CD and surprised my mom by playing this song in the car on their 50th wedding anniversary. Love Alan Jackson
I love love love that song. Gets me every time!!!
We saw him in concert, Hershey, PA...Great show!
That mandolin and his silky voice just makes me melt. Great pick😊
What a beautiful song.
Alan is such a great songwriter and performer so I love a lot of what he does but what’s so special about this song to me is how it doesn’t candy coat the struggles people often go through. No one said marriage and raising kids is easy but man is it worth it! The song mentions how the start was hard and how life threw them some curves which happens. Also, how they’ll break each other’s hearts and hopefully bend but not break the marriage. How having kids can teach valuable lessons to the parents who have to let go of so much of themselves and put the kids first which often brings the parents closer even though the job of raising kids is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things they’ll ever do. It also talks about how our perceptions and values change as life moves on and how ultimately we’d do it all again, the struggles, the hurt, the broken trust, the rebuilt trust, the joy, and the love. It’s a masterpiece and now that I've been married for 18 years and have two wonderful kids this song means so much more to me.
My favorite songs by the icon Alan Jackson are Remember When, Livin’ on Love, Where Were You, Small Town Southern Man, I’ll Try, Here in the Real World, Drive, She’s Got the Rhythm, The Older I Get, and Monday Morning Church.
Truly a beautiful song that speaks of what it is to know real love in your lifetime. My love has passed on now but I do remember when and I'm grateful. Thank you for this reaction video.
Glad you enjoyed it
He’s one of the greatest in country music! ❤️
Thanks for the reaction to Alan Jackson. For a more upbeat song from him you should hear "She's Got the Rythm" ( and I Got the Blues).
Beautiful song. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
He wrote this beautiful song for his wife, who was his childhood sweetheart! And yes, they’re still together.
Another of my favorites! Alan Jackson is actually from my hometown, Newnan Georgia and went to high school with my sister. He's a really nice guy, as well as a wonderful singer!
I live in Newnan as well
I worked for Delta and knew his wife when Miss Denise was a Delta flight attendant. She first introduced me to Alan at Scotts Bookstore on the square in Newnan.
overwhelming song harri!
Well, you picked the best! You really did! You have to watch the official video for this! BEAUTIFUL!
It was written for his wife, Denise, after infidelity, forgiveness, reunion and renewed wedding vows.
They are high school sweethearts. Each is a remarkable person! They've been married 40 years now. Three beautiful grown daughters.
Denise joins him in a slow dance in the video, and some of the photographs are of family. He honestly is a living legend.
If you'd like an upbeat, fun song and video (official) check out "Chattahoochee"! He has many good songs of all types. Has been in the business 30 years. At 62, he still tours, except for Covid. Even with it, he did 2 outdoor, drive in concerts; complete with health safety precautions
in place and people walking through; checking and reminding attendees.
If you hadn't guessed, I'm a long time fan. He and Elvis are equally my favorites!! So, that proves I have excellent taste ❗ 🤠😎
Alan Jackson, Trace Adkins and Toby Keith are all talk - over 6ft. They also keep country classic. They have fun songs as well as sweet songs.
He also has released a album sing traditional hymns soooo good
Summertime Blues
He got you Harri!
Those country folks always get you😀
Simple is sometimes best, just keep it simple
Chatahootchie!! Alan Jackson-check it out! It’s a fun one! Amazing artist! There will never be another
You can be a Country Guy even if you've never lived in the Country! Good traditional Country Music at the Grand Ole Opry the Mecca of Country Music in Nashville which was where this was filmed is an awesome representation of this music and with the great Alan Jackson. Makes you want to chill and have a nice glass of Bourbon, Maybe a nice cigar and just sit back and listen - I don't think there will be a dry eye. Great choice to react to. I love to hear real country music.
I think was filmed at Carnegie Hall, wasn't it?
Great reaction! I love your vibe man. Keep exploring new genres and enjoy the journey! ❤️
If I was still having babies I would name a boy Harry.
The story is told of a friend watching LL Cool J listening to country songs on a jukebox. "Why are you listening to country music?" "It's the stories, man."
❤️❤️❤️
I like live performances but!!! If you want to hear the song at its absolute best
Sound then may I suggest studio version I noticed sound of silence with Simon and Garfunkel and that song along with bridge over troubled water is a must to hear studio version ....Great reaction love this song keep spreading the music to the masses.
More often than not country music is about home, heart and soul; which anyone can relate to in their own way. Another suggestion, Tim McGraw "Humble and Kind", the version with Oprah's video clips rather than the live version. Beautifully edited with a worthy message.
Please consider reviewing Brooks and Dunn's soulful song, "Believe". You will like it.
That is an extraordinary story/music video. Heartfelt with a powerful vocal by Ronnie Dunn.
Welcome to the Alan Jackson club! Jackson has some definitely upbeat songs. "It Must Be Love" is great (though it's a cover of a Don Williams song). I also recommend "Itty-bitty"
I could easily spam this thread on country recommendations haha!
Country. Darius Rucker. Wagon Wheel (video with Duck Dynasty guys.)
For a great country song react to “believe” by Brooks and Dunn.
Hello Mr Harri. I just watched your SRV Voodoo Child reaction. I just subscribed to your channel because of your cool, laid back demeanor and your obviously a highly intelligent person. Enjoy listening to you. I remember seeing Stevie for the first time in maybe 1989 on Austin City Limits. He died shortly after. I was a senior in high school, and I cried. That day i stood b4 my English class and explained why, and how i felt the world had lost someone irreplaceable. Enjoy your musical journey. I love Aan Jackson too. He has many great songs.
Thanx John..his death is so sad..So many greats who died way too young..Joplin..Bob Marley..Hendrix..Otis Redding..just to name a few
Mandolin started the song not a guitar
Steel guitar is what sounds Hawaiian
Try the song kiss this you will really love it 😊
He sounds just like Sam Cook
Please listen to Believe by Brooks and Dunn
Harri, watch the Video Remember When!!
Guaranteed you will need Kleenix!!
Steel guitar
Love the country music reactions.
I do not see that you have reacted to Dimash Kudaibergen.
He is from Kazakhstan. As most Kazaks are, he is Eurasian.
He is currently considered the best vocalist in the world by millions.
When he was 22, he received an invitation to a sing off in China and this is his first song in that "contest". He shocked them, and continued to shock them and the world for weeks of singing there. He is now 26.
He completed his masters this past summer and is working on his Doctorate now.
I would love to see you react to him.

He has improved well since this video.
Here's the best two Sad Country Songs: Garth Brooks - "The Dance", and "If Tomorrow Never Comes".

A reaction to the music video may be better. I do like how you didn’t say the commonly and annoying “smash that like/subscribe” obviously people will like and possibly subscribe if a job was well done....
Harry I'm from the U. S. You are great dude, love your analysis of music
