The moles!!!!! liking the home vegetable patch this year more than the lawn, much to Tricia's delight. Harvested another punnet of strawberries this morning, yes one for us two for the slugs at the moment, have to be quick. All looking great including your apple tree which you grew from seed...wow. Ps yes try with the plums they taste amazing, luckily our plot neigbour has a well established tree, and he always passes us a bag or two of plums when they are ready.
I don't know what he liked the least taste of toad or his mouth rinsed out 🤣 I can't wait for the plums - the tree has been in 3 years now 😍 The apple tree my neighbour at home was cutting it down so out of the last batch of apples I kept the seeds. Only one germinated and this is it 😊
Oh Ruben 🤣🤣 he's like 'hey dad where are you going with my new friend!!' The apple tree has gotten a lot bigger than last year! I remember those plums getting devoured by the wild life last year and Victoria plums are soooooo nice. I have one but it's never fruited, I think it's blossoming too early. I remember you showing the blossom yours and it was a good bit after mine 🤦♀️ Oh wow you are going to be busy this summer with huge harvests. That brassica cage is bursting with beautiful veg 🤩 love it Tracey, you and Carl have done so well! Xx
Ruben's had me worried sick all day when I googled toads are poisonous. He's fast asleep not care jn the world lol I can't belive the apple tree I'm so happy with it. And the brassica cage we noticed massive holes in the roof 😅 good job I have that roll of new mesh .. we bodged it today but next weekend will add new mesh 🥰
@@traceysallotment2506 oh Tracey 🥺 nothing worse I could here it in your voice when you said 'why is he doing that with his mouth' Last Christmas I dropped a poppyseed bagel with salmon on the floor and I thought ah Roo would love that salmon, let her mop it up, spent all Xmas day worried sick as after googling poppy seeds and finding out they are poisonous as well! Honestly nothing like that worry, but I guess he is okay? 🤞😞xx
Honestly he's always been the same! When he was maybe about 2 Yr old I'd made a Xmas cake and went in the bath while it was on the cooling rack. I came down and he'd ate half of a 8inch cake!!!!! Thankfully he was alright as again the dried fruit isn't good 😅 I think Roo and Ruben are not a good match - could you imaging the carnage 🤣🤣 Thankfully he's alright 🥰🥰 he's had Sunday dinner and I made him a toad in the hole just for fun 🤣🤣 (sausage in Yorkshire pudding)
Your plot is looking good,frogs to eat the slugs and lovely soil from molehills you are a winner.Keep some water on the peas if it gets hot I lost all of my peas last year in a hot spell.👍👍

If Rueben starts acting as if he is ill its possible he has Toxicosis from the toad/frog as they are poisonous to cats and dogs. Hope he stays well 😉. Your apple tree has grown hasnt it ? Bet ya get a canny few plums this year. Hopefully the slugs dont get ya strawberries. Goosegogs are looking good as well. I dug out my red currant bushes and the white currant bushes, i dont like them lol. Ya cant go wrong with either Tweed or Marian, they are so hardy. Cabbages are looking great, i took my collars off the other day. Very busy plot Tracey. I have loads and loads of videos to catch up on.
Hi jimmy he's laid flat out on the couch. He's had me worried sick since little bugger he is. I am not keen on red currants but I use them to bulk out my mixed fruit jam. Carl got me a white current last year but it's grown like a tree ... we had a few last year and we didn't mind them. You are the swede king 🤴 mine are pathetic 🤣🤣🤣 but they have been in the ground a week so so.far so good
