I can picture a mindless cyberzombie in the first half of the arc, lashing about like a unnaturally quick feral animal on a kind of sensor autopilot, and then a bullet denting off it's skull in the second half jogs something in it's brain back online. What little is left of the man inside is aware now. He remembers his purpose now- and his full array of capabilities.
A perfect complement to the original thematics of the fight.
Guess I was wrong about the living failures being next but lord I do not complain. Blessed be this great arrangement!

arrangements like this make me *really* want Fromsoft to make a souls style scifi game, because they highlight just how incredibly the styles work together

Ludwig's theme is my absolute favorite of all the souls games and I can't tell you how much of a treat this was. I hope you have as much fun making these as we have listening, no pressure, alright? That being said, if you ever do DS3 sometime, the Abyss Watchers' theme is what I'll be looking forward to.

I wish the first phase of the original Ludwig track was better, because its second phase was great. At least Cthulu improved on it though.

11/10, such a perfect translation of baroque/gothic choral and orchestral music to something darkly technological while nodding to its original operatic tone. Not to mention, the transition into the second verse holds a bloody hammer over my head and bludgeons me with it throughout the rest of the song. Beautifully done!
This is 100% the best arrangement you've made! it's just incredible! Ludwig is my favourite boss from Bloodborne so i was really hyped about your cover and i'm not surprised to say that it's straight up a banger!
I can see Ludwig’s cyberpunk alternative-self: this smug yet collected man with years of experience in corporate warfare or assassination jobs, wielding an energised blade of sorts and sometimes letting out a shot from his sidearm. But when he’s getting frustrated and transitions to his second phase he radios in his bike that basically transforms into his battle-gear on top of him, giving him an exoskeleton, targeting optics, missile arrays and thrusters so that he can put you down in an instant with a barrage of quick and non-stop attacks.
The fact that replays only increase as the song goes on is a testament to your skill as a composer.

Easily the best one yet, partially because Ludwig's theme slaps so hard but mainly because the bass rhythm it's built around is amped synthwave style and makes everything so much better.

I have been listening to the original in preparation for this day, knowing it would be awesome. And what you have delivered, my friend, is an absolute banger. This ability you have to always capture the spirit of a soundtrack while adding your own touch never ceases to amaze me.

Bro, as much as I LOVE your other works, this has been the best one since Mohg!!! This and Mohg are just so exceptional!! They both do a wonderful job in keeping the og melodies in the spotlight, while emphasizing them with synthwave at the same time. Just a spectacular cover, well done!!!
I'm mad that I can't hit "like" more than once. Love the energy and transition from the first phase to the second, very close to the original (and in some aspects even better). Love it! I showed it to all my FromSoft Fans and even others who just like some Synth-Stuff and the likes. Everyone loved it so far! Thank you for that original interpretation of one of the most amazing pieces of music in any game!

@@CthulhuSeeker Dope. I'll definitely be picking up this one, Lady Maria, and a few of the Elden Ring tracks for sure. Which is saying a lot for me. I'm usually not a fan of remixes/remakes in other styles for OSTs like Bloodborne, Elden Ring, etc. Usually doesn't feel like it sounds right but you definitely nailed it hard on a lot of them.
I'll be keeping an eye out for the Bandcamp. Can't wait to have the files instead of having to go through a service to listen to them.
