I dont get why people say Aegis' are a sword, they arent. They're just called blade, and are basically just core crystals, you can even change the sword's appearance and power without affecting pyra or mythra. And in the arts menu its specified that the weapon is called "Aegis Sword"!!

Jacob Pritchett but I also think it’s coding stuff as well: if you look at XC1, it seems like only one character is allowed to talk at a time. Any time one person’s dialogue is triggered, nobody else’s gets triggered until that person is done talking. In XC2, that’s not happening at all and all six characters just talk over each other.
This is the theme of chain attacks for me... Can almost hear the voices of party and the announcer, and feel a sense of anticipation for the next qte, heh.
I mean, they said that they didn't put Rex in to the game because they had already decided the fighters in smash when his game was released, but an arms character is getting his way in, so I don't think it's difficult to get Rex in to the game!
Tokoname yeah since ARMS and XC2’s development conflicted with Ultimate’s that’s why fighters from neither got chosen at the time. I’m hoping Rex and Pyra will also be in this pass. If not, there’s always next time!

This, Those Who Stand in Our Path, Incoming, Death Match With Torna, and After Despair and Hope are my favorite boss/super boss theme in the game. Still Move Forward is my favorite regular battle theme. And this is my favorite theme overall.
I cannot fucking wait to play Mythra and Pyra with this in the background it's ridiculous that Steve can fight Sephiroth on Peach's castle with this in the background. this game has really evolved, whether you like how it did or not.
Being introduced to coffee with milk where the game makes you immortal for that one fight was phenomenal. After all the ass kicking Rex got he finally bites back because of his love and loyalty. It was the only time I’ve felt truly powerful and button mashed like there was no tomorrow.
@@allingbrodniak8819 Lol yes Thankfully the instakill is avoidable - perform a stage 3 Blade Combo, a Level 4 Blade Special, start a Chain Attack, have Doom Resist accessories on (DLC), have a Blade with Debuff Cancel since Doom is a debuff, or have a Dark type Blade out; Dark is immune to Doom.
I never understood the "Just another Sword Character" argument. Like who gives a damn if they got a sword that doesn't automatically disqualify them from potentially being an interesting character. Hell Pyra/Mythra being able to switch stances already makes her a more interesting character than a lot of other options available.

Thankfully the instakill is avoidable - perform a stage 3 Blade Combo, a Level 4 Blade Special, start a Chain Attack, have Doom Resist accessories on (DLC), have a Blade with Debuff Cancel since Doom is a debuff, or have a Dark type Blade out; Dark is immune to Doom.

I never understood the "Just another Sword Character" argument.
Like who gives a damn if they got a sword that doesn't automatically disqualify them from potentially being an interesting character. Hell Pyra/Mythra being able to switch stances already makes her a more interesting character than a lot of other options available.
You will hear them saying that again when Lloyd from Tales series is included as a fighter lol.
