It would be helpful to see the lettuce in progress: How many empty holes? Weed management in the first 3 weeks. Weed management through the next 2 months.
What mechanism or technic used if d soil is embeded in the whole or path while seeds r droping into soil...so that next seed should not disturb to drop in soil... pleasee reply
Ok! Thanks, but in the web site - www.ferrisfarm.net/polyplanterJr.html , I found mention about onions, so its not that huge difference... I will think about planter and if its requires deepest seed plates maybe I can printed by 3D printer?
Hmmm...well, we plant a lot of pumpkins and gourds with varying size seeds. Some no bigger than zucchini, but some others quite a bit larger. I’ll contact you further through your website. Thank you.
Very clever and efficient technology. Too bad they couldn't use a biodegradable paper cover to plant through instead of plastic. Too much plastic is ending up in the landfills or blowing across the fields as it is.
A question. If the farm says their organic and grow plant with plastic buckets , plastic mulch leaching chemicals from oil derived products, are they organic farmers.
We will have in stock somewhere around 15 January to 1 February. The new planner will do well with cucumbers and must balance and we also have a special seed plate for cole crops in development and it is looking really good and should have by then to. It will be easier to assemble and disassemble than the old one and there will be one way a change in the depth. I will get a video up as soon as I can. Price for basic model will still be $485
Would like to see how the seeds germinated and the lettuce grew.

youre never going to see that
there is a picture on our site that shows lettuce
nice planter so how can we buy it online?
Could it eventually be made out of aluminum and galvanized steel so it would last longer in the sun? Always trying to reduce plastic use..
Possibly but the cost would be more . The plastic is very strong and very little breakage ok very time
@@polyplanter Have you tested them by leaving them out in the sun for years?? I for one would think the extra cost would be worth it to go with metal.
@@bountywoodsfarm8594 suggest you buy the tractor pulled one for longevity but most of the plastic is polycarbinote

I understand that its also possible to plant garlic?! If it is, I will consider to buy one of them, but what about delivery? Im from Latvia.
We can deliver to Latvia but this will not plant garlic. Biggest seed would be peanuts

Hi Janis, the onions are seeds not bulbs. There is a good garlic planter being made in Poland
Never saw onions diferently exept bulbs.. :) Thank you! Have a nice day!
So basically a jang seed roller and a old time hand corn planter mechanized.
How much is this planter?
Will this do pumpkin seeds?
Yes. Would need pumpkin seed size to print a plate for it.
