For the Primals, Soken plays electric guitar and on one track also plays trumpet. They honestly get some of the most talented composers and it shows in how a lot of the music hits. He even played Otamatone at Fan Fest.

His shield should appear to be like WALL (Barrier/MBarrier). Maybe even counter-attack trigger and defend an ally if they're in range.

There are multiple versions of Those Who Fight Further. The demo gave us one which is a mashup with Bombing Mission. And there's one with an amazing electric guitar with Air Buster's boss.
Rebirth is not going to have this kind of music (progressive rock/metal) though. It's been missing from the series since 2008 with the original XIV where Uematsu was the main composer of it.
I haven't shared how I did it, because my partner whom is a programmer, wrote in code for a WAV codec program he downloaded (for integration) and we moved the WAV files to game sound folder and it ran okay. I will see if he can give a tutorial or explanation, but unless you have done game or audio programming like my partner has done, you may not be able to do it? He is quite high level and is a contract programmer which has worked for the activision software company. He spent hours doing it and many attempts to get it working, as it was definitely not as straight forward as I even thought! I hope this shines some light on what he did :S

I may be from Square Enix but I know that it won't be in because the Black Mages is Noubo Eumatsu's band and he wants nothing to do with any Final Fantasy music.
I hope you guys contacted Square Enix. So they can put this version in the game. It sounds like they may have modernized it way too much. But then again, I haven't heard the whole soundtrack of the game and it's quite possible. They may have saved version of this for a further boss battle. Anyway, fantastic job.
