That's awesome - thanks so much, Rose-Marie! Could I have permission to use this testimonial in promotional materials?

Wow! Great tip! I have never seen this trick before, I've been thinking more along the lines of adding sus's and flavouring them by ear, but this makes it a lot easier to know when to use them.

That is absolutely the point, you nailed it. Glad it helped!

I already knew this before I watched the video and I can vouch for this information. It has been immensely helpful in learning songs and transposing.

I've recently had some problems with using this approach. One note: I have a pretty good memory, I play most of the songs without looking at our chord charts. I've recently started playing Holy Spirit in D major, having forgot that we practiced it in E major. Put myself and our team in a pretty big mess because of it.

Hey hi! What you do when you know what do with the right because you have a melody but you only have the notes for the left hand. Can you explain how I can make the left hand sound great and fluent if I know the chords. Because as you guys know playing with chords and a simple melody on the right hand is not the most interesting thing to hear.

Excellent channel. Too bad I don't play piano. You don't happen to have a twin who teaches worship violin do you? ;-)

Ah man, I wish I could play it. As a music ed major, I had to take classes on all the instruments. I did pretty well on everything except...violin! Not good. I greatly admire those who can play it!

It is rather demanding, isn't it? If you ever do a video or series about creating fills/solos that match the melody/rhythmic structure of the songs that would make my day/month/year . Reading dots on paper is so much different from expressing yourself through improvisation. Nobody has been able to explain to me this approach, and since you're good at explaining things........
