Very nice gearbox Bob. That thing is massive and I bet bullet proof. Would be cool to know what parts they used inside that box and from what machine. Make sure you post another video once you have split the case, I wana see inside that thing. Any info is appreciated. CO
When ever I see pictures of ANY transmission the question is -- Where did they get those gears from ????? There is NO WAY in my opinion that they got "special" gears cut. EEE most likely used off the shelf gears from some other vehicle with a manual gear box and then incorporated them into theirs. It would be to expensive to get custom gears made. The input/output shafts would most likely be custom as they are easier to make and would be reasonably priced. Any ideas on what those gears came out of ? CO
@@canadianoddy8504 since Ed passed away it would be hard to tell. The some and grandson had information on the buggies but no specific details. All the paperwork rusty got from them the only related to the transmission was the price of the billet model. I’ve heard they can from some type of farm implement. A guy on Facebook last week told me he heard farm implement as well and from Canada. They do look Similar to the trans in the Mini Mag made by Chenowth.
