    Very informative! Just need to tap once with our cash card in SG and twice using our TNG card at the Malaysia Custom right? Can use digital TNG card or must be physical card only?

    • @angcheekeong

      In Malaysia has to tap 2 readers. One reader is RM20, another one is RM2.37.
      Must use physical TNG card.

      Not required. Just need a Touch & Go Card, to get through via Woodlands Checkpoint, you need to pay Tolls of RM20 + RM2.37 at the Malaysian custom.

    Never ever keep right after the first fork and make a wrong turn. This will bring you to lorry lane that is leading you back to Singapore. Once I made a wrong turn, I had to offer coffee money of $50 to JB traffic cop to lead me back to JB. Multiple forks after JB customs will drive you nuts.

      After JB customs, you should use the EDL, look out for KL sign, it's the left most lane. You can refer to my other video on the aceess to EDL.

    I am an Indonesian citizen and have a plan to go to Malaysia and rent a car to drive from KL to JB
    So my question is, am I as an Indonesian citizen can be allowed to drive in Singapore from morning to evening and then back again to JB? (so in this case I am not staying in SG hotel)
    Hope I'll get the information and your video is very helpful, thank you sir

      Hi, I'm not very sure on this. But for sure, any Malaysian cars that enters Singapore, they have to pay a Toll charge approximately SGD$40 per day.

    Hi can i ask for pumping petrol at the petronas u went is it the same as singapore? I heard you have to go counter pay first? and does the pump work the same as the one we use in singapore? thanks alot

    • @angcheekeong
      @angcheekeong  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For most kiosks in JB city centre area you can pump and pay later. Just signal to the counter and they will activate the pump. Else you can use your credit card and activate at the pump directly.

    Hi bro. I got a few questions hope u can help.
    1) Is it every petrol station u will need to tell the counter how much to fuel first? Like for eg. Pump no.1 , ron97, 100rm?
    2)What if you pump lesser than you paid beforehand? They will refund u? Or u realised u need more gas?
    3) if u paid for example 100rm beforehand then they will cut off the gas once reach 100rm?

    • @angcheekeong
      @angcheekeong  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. For most Kiosks in JB area, just signal to the cashier, they will activate the pump for you and pay later. You may pump any amount.
      2. Those stations further away from JB especially in the ulu area, you have to place a deposit either cash or credit card. For cash your pump is limited to the amount of deposit.
      3. Yes.
      If you use credit card or Youtrip at the Pump, they will charge you RM200 as a deposit, after pumping, a few hours or a day later, they will adjust back the difference.
      Pls be reminded SG registered vehicles are not allowed to pump RON95.

    Very informative..
    Some enquiries for those first timers or for those who don’t usually drive to JB.
    What if we don’t have Touch N Go card or insufficient value. Will there be alternatives to pay by cash?

    • @angcheekeong
      @angcheekeong  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No there's no way to top up. Most people try to borrow from the car behind if their card is low value. You can purchase the Touch and Go card from Shoppee.

    • @angcheekeong
      @angcheekeong  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Once you are out of JB custom and heading up the slope, at the first overhead gantry board, take the right lane. After take the left most lane towards JB Sentral.
      Alternatively,you can take the slip Road after the Shell Station and turn left towards down town (Pusat Bandaraya)
