Enjoy a virtual walk on the neighborhood's main east-west route under the NYC subway tracks of the J train from "104 Street" station to "85 Street-Forest Parkway" station.
It went to 111th Street in 1917 and ended at 168th Street terminal from July 1918 til September 1977 when it was cut back in order to connect to the Archer Avenue subway in Jamaica. It was serviced by both wooden El trains and steel subway trains until 1950 when the L train service to Downtown Brooklyn from Queens ended in 1950.
I cannot believe how clean Jamaica Ave in Woodhaven is! I left NYC in the early 80's, where I lived in Queens
Good quality but you got to do it when the stores are open ! People are out and about
You are right. I got there too early around 2PM, the streets looked empty.
❤ Always.
I like the El...!!

Richmond Hill, Woodhaven is west of this.
I can't believe Imperial Upholstery is still on Jam Ave.
