She isn’t just rejected for nursing but she did reject her complete as she never groomed her , defended her from Nenen attacks and matter of fact participate in some acts herself. One very dangerous where they pinned Annie between their bodies . Really let be honest if was for Shabani defending Annie all the time she would’ve probably not survive because she was a baby when the attacks started.
@@stevemorris6790 Many different reasons they reject baby, we’ve seen it often. Look at Baby Jameela at Ft Worth Zoo. Nene has always been fierce an when it came to Kiyo she was protective to extreme, she never accepted Annie she is viewed as not related. Shabanis always watched over her. It’s nice to see a bond between Ai an Annie. I think this troupe is interesting because of the dynamics
I think the only reason that Annie looks thinner is because she has had a growth spurt. Look at her huge mom and dad. Also, females are usually lean until they start having babies.❤

This really changes my view of gorillas hard to find that line between animal and human at times...But Nene helped on that watching everyone eating lunch and she eating her leakes she loves must then suddenly licks the wall. Then I'm shocked back to yup their animals and I'm probably related to Nene I got uncles that would do that lol
Thankfully, it seems the keepers realized that if ALL the gorillas are to enjoy Italian ryegrass, they have to put out more of it than Kiyomasa can eat at one sitting.
