What I take from this song is the struggle with antidepressants and anti psycotics. As a person who has lived with a partner for 25 years who struggles with depression daily. Taking these pills basically erases her personality and makes her numb, essentially a "chalk outline" of her actual self. Years of her sitting in my lap and crying because she is so tired of feeling this way makes this song so impactful for me.

Wow I waited to hear the song with you so it is my first as well and I totally agree it's love!!! They made me feel like I was the one in the room pushing it down with another habit! And half swear him and nf together would be epic!!
Ren's voice is so emotional, I love that his music is so versatile, very few people can couple a great rap cadence with an equally impressive singing voice. But holy cow, Chinchilla's voice.... her soft notes and high notes at the end are probably the most heartbreaking sounds I've ever heard in a song, it literally sounds like she's crying out desperately, a cathartic release. I think the only other time I've been so emotionally drawn into someone's voice is James Blunt's in Monster. This was awesome.

I lived in Brighton England in his hometown for 16 years and used to hear him busk on the weekend all the time. He was incredible then and now.
