Hello lovely, thanks for sharing your kit! I am happy to see more makeup artists carrying more useful products in their kits and investing in better, more helpful products. I have been a makeup artist for over 26 years and have seen so many changes and trends within the beauty industry. There is so much more available and so many more companies to shop from. I don't know if you have tried the graftobian foundation palettes, but they are more creamy and more blendable than the RCMA foundation. I have used graftobian for over 10 years and is a staple in my pro kit. It looks beautiful on the skin, photographs well, and covers every shade of the skin. Two other products, that are staples in my kit worth mentioning are the Ben Nye setting spray and the mehron skin prep. The Ben Nye setting spray will set makeup for over 8 hours of wear, make it not move, and will be waterproof. Fabulous product! The mehron skin prep is sweatproof, great for oily skin on oily areas, used under the foundation and after skincare with a cotton ball. Also, kryolan dermacolor mini foundation palettes are great to have for covering tattoos, vitiligo( loss of skin color with some women of color). It covers so well and is smudge proof and waterproof! You have to play around with it at first to get the feel of it, but once you do...you will love it and realize it is a miracle product! Hope you will check those out. I have been blessed to do what I love, learning so much through the years, having had a great mentor in the beginning and teach other baby artists with meeting other great artists out there. I always say, remain teachable, humble, and reachable for as an artist you are setting an example for the upcoming artists. Sanitation is very important, being prepared for any makeup situation, and charging your worth after you have experience & skills, and not low balling for your time, skill, travel, and kit cost you as well. Hope you have a blessed day and Merry Christmas Monica!!! Much love & hugs, Joy♡
Hi loves! I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this difficult time! I decided to reorganize and declutter my makeup kit and I am so in love with how it turned out. I can't wait to start working again and making people feel so beautiful! Please leave any questions you may have below. Links to items are in the description!
Hi love! Love your kit! I’m wondering how you transport all of these bags when you’re going to do a job. I have a zuca and I’ve been thinking of switching to one of those cases but the majority of my work is bridal so I’m constantly traveling to my clients. I already bring my chair, a ring light, my zuca and zuca backpack (which is at least two trips to the car 😂). The zuca is heavy but it tolls so that sometimes makes it easier. Do you carry all of these to every job? Thanks for your help!
You have a very nice put together Kit, very neat & tidy, that is what clients are going to look after this crisis ends...the only kind of downsize is that "Beauty Blenders" will, unfortunately, be a NO GO, after this pandemic situation, it´s no longer a safe bet, even though you have washed them and sanitized them home with even chlorine....people are not going to be pleased ....I have already seen other MUA, talking about buying a new one for each client, and just leave it with the customer as a souvenir almost, or the other alternative is to buy the plain old cheapie sponges, the triangular ones....and just throw them to the bind ...... You kind of have to think that all will eventually have to be disposable for hygienic reasons...anyway if you think about it, the cost will be included in your paycheck at the end of the day! :D
I always use one sponge for one client so it is a normal routine for me, but yes. I do agree with giving out the makeup sponge. I keep cheaper beauty blenders from AliExpress and Amazon and sponge wedges (the triangular ones).
Ivory Glass no it’s not thaaaat clear to every MUA, I’ve seen many here that still think that by just “Washing” the sponges they are good to go! So no, its not obvious for everyone , even now!
Love love love this kit setup ! I cant wait to have mine sorted out ! Eeeeee been trying to get to this stage for ages ! Thanks for the video it has helped me heaps !
@@ivoryglass3589 its a drag look I did, this isn't my every day look. I was merely making a suggestion, its easier to travel light. no need to get defensive.
Hey how were you able to get the anastasia brow powder book? I can’t find it anywhere and I’ve been wanting one for my kit. Thanks in advance for your help!
I absolutely loved this video and it was super helpful. I’m just curious to know how you carry all this? And what you store the clear bags in that had the skin care in it.
Not every artist wants to depot their kit. I honestly loose inspiration when I do that. I have done it a bunch and then up never using it because it looks junkie and rough. I need to see my stuff.
Love your kit so beautiful and organized! Was wondering what do you carry your kit in? I’m assuming a luggage and if so what dimensions? I have a very similar kit and was browsing for something to carry my stuff in. Thanks! ❤️
Love your kit 🔥🔥🙌🏻 thanks for sharing , I’m a longisland/New York MUA and I literally love looking at other freelance artist kits 🔥💣🗣 we have a lot of the same products, I was looking for a brush holder and girl you sold me ❤️😘
Can you recommend a eyeshadow palette for beginners makeup kit? I am trying to build my freelance kit and I am really confused which palette to get. I dont want to buy too many , may two to begin with but something that has almost all the shades I would need and a little affordable too.
Just bridal neutral ones, summer peach ones with pinks and oranges, more darker ones for smokey, and one colorful ones for emergency just in case someone need them. Morphe is great with freat quality and price, but look up the original ones. Juvia's place and colourpop are great too. If you want, you can buy a huge eyeshadow magnetic pallete and just buy some Makeup Geek and customized your chosen colours that will suit for every occasion.
I bought a huge ass magnetic pallete of Amazon and put everything I need there. It takes up less space and I have every colours I need and I can take and refill them easily. Just one pallete and I have all of my nude, smokey, cool neutrals, peach and pinks, blues and greens, and some crazy colours.
hi Monica great video the makeup for ever corector palette is no longer is there a way to contact you i can send u some other ideas on corector palettes
I think you have way too much. I honestly worry about you carrying that much. I used to carry my Zuca and after years I messed up my neck and get constant pain now. . Loved watching how organized you are!
Ashley McNeal many companies will offer you pro discounts. They want you to use their products. Mac, Nars and many others go to their websites and do some search. You will have to prove you do work with clients and are certified. Good luck
Ashley McNeal do not be afraid to use drugstore brands to include in your kit. You are very welcome! Most of all have fun and keep all very clean and presentable.

I have the same question as KaylaKollection! How do you carry everything to jobs? ☺️

that brushes fabric organizer is bomb!!!
Just bought
This video was one of the most helpful. You sold me on everything you have.
What I love that makeup forever palette so many people talk about it!
Imo you don't need that many glosses. maybe keep a few shades & definitely get a clear gloss! at most I have 4 glosses in my kit.
Haha same girl! I only have 3 glosses, a neutral brown, a universal pink and a clear 🙌🏽
WHO CARES... It's her kit. and you def. wear way too much makeup.

This may not be an appropriate question but how does one afford all of these products???
It’s very costly. But Bridal makeup is very profitable.
Are there ways to save money on makeup if you are certified?
