I know, the strings really moved me. Do you know what other kind of music sounds I should listen to with strings with a similar vibe. I would like to hear more.
You’re the first person I’ve seen to blend the original beat with the new one in a unique and catchy way, ontop of remixing it with Moon. Good shit, man.
@@maxsaintbas It honestly makes me appreciate Moon and Donda's Hurricane more from a compositional sense. Even though the sample isn't present anymore, it's DNA is so ingrained in both tracks.
@@unwritten_zephyr exactly bro, it’s like in both versions of Donda era Hurricane, although the Yandhi era Hurricane keys aren’t present, it’s almost implied All I did was make it more explicit than implicit in terms of the melody by bringing out the nostalgic keys and it really does make you appreciate all three tracks more for what they separately are
Moon was intended to be like hurricane, since the Yandhi era hurricane had the Kanye verse with all the mumbling. The fans were debating whether Ye was saying "I can walk on the moon" or "I can walk on water". That's how Moon was created. 🌪️🌒
This is literally the perfect combination of all the good elements from each version of the song. The original beat from the demo is definitely better but the Weekend’s vocals from the final version are essential and the transition into moon was immaculate. You the goat for putting this together 🙏🙏
I’m not 100% but wasn’t moon supposed to be attached onto the end of hurricane or be an interlude after it? I’m pretty sure it was in the first listening party, it fits so well so would make sense
Oh yea this is damn near my favorite version..I’ve legit been listening to this for almost 2 weeks straight without knowing you made an entire remix album
The thing is, so many other "Ultimate" versions of songs just put a bunch of verses from random songs on one track and call it a day, but the use of minimalism to achieve maximalism is why Kanye's music is so good, and because of that I think you nailed this. It really is the ultimate version of the song! You don't change that much; you add the OG beat and mix things together, tying everything perfectly, and I absolutely love that. It's a song that I can just put on and listen to and enjoy any time, and that's what Kanye's music makes me feel.
This is incredible. The way you mixed the Kanye verse on this sounded absolutely incredible. Took that verse up from a 7/10 to a 10/10 for me! And the way you took the hurricane instrumental and mixed it in with Moon was simply genius. Loved every bit of this!!
This is the best remix I've heard in my entire life. Mixing Kanye West's 'Hurricane' and 'Moon' Is the Best Thing I've HeardThe composition is incredible, I've never heard that I'm still in shock, it's just a magnificent audio experience filled with qualitative and moving content.
Scrapping the original instrumental was one of the stupidest things Ye has ever done. There’s something haunting and familiar about the sample that would have been nice to keep in the final, even slightly muffled, and the way you subtly keep it in there is absolutely brilliant (and what he should have done).
@@Sal-zs1ob I don’t disagree but scrapping it entirely makes the final album version feel dead inside and empty. The og instrumental should have stayed in the background at least
The melody in the intro really brought a tear to my eye. Listening to both of my favorites songs from this album is what I needed. The transitions were spot on!!🔥
You should be an arranger for artists in the industry 🙌 thank you for this! Hurricane is my fav song and moon definitely takes me to another world so thanks for this mash up!
Like literally find your core bc it's coming. Irregardless of rapture death is coming for us all. Empathy awareness leads to enlightened souls. As above so below
Another comment I want to make is that fan-made remixes are just crazy and just out of this world, there are some really talanted people out there including this person (The Donda Project). I feel like albums like Donda are just base songs that are waiting to be remixed into something so much crazier 😁
Really love this! I wish you extended the pause in the Wekend’s chorus . The build comes down to fast. Also if the base line for the chorus feels a bit too quiet! Other the that I would put this mix right under the good life panda remix

Hearing strings in a Ye song always brings me back to the MBDTF times. I wish he would use strings again in his songs
2010 nostalgia

This takes the compliment of the night my guy, I appreciate it alot🔥
not sure about that
Mfs just be saying anything atp lol
Fans have always been that way. This is how superstars are made. Kanye was once just like everyone else at one point.
a lot of fans are more talented than popular artists, Kanye though? I don’t think
He's not afraid of copyright, copyright is afraid of him.

Moon and the original hurricane beat make me instantly emotional and nostalgic for something I don’t even know yet
Frfr 😭
Worded it perfectly
It’s to remember the present moment when your in the future

still nostalgic?
When I first heard Moon I thought it was an extension to Hurricane.
moon was originally the outro for hurricane

Heard barely a minute but this easily the best mix
I’ve heard of all this well dine

I love how you kept the vocals in the released Hurricane version. Especially the chorus done by The Weekend, and also that fire Kanye West verse.
