I'm trying to use Gmaj scale focusing um C Lydian but, Im not sure about it. Someone for give me some tips?

On F#7 tu peu jouer les notes F#,G#,A#,B#(C),C#,D#,E this is known as the F# lydian dominant scale ou le C# melodic minor scale. C’est la même (my French is rusty)
Aussi sur F#7 play F# half-whole diminish scale F#,G,A,A#,C,C#,D#,E
On B7 tu peu faire B mixolydian B,C#,D#,E,F#,G#,A
Jouer aussi la gamme penta mineure blues de f#, comme si ct le 1/4 d'un blues...

Thanks for your comment ! Yes, I had to make some choices concerning those chords, some of them differ from some original recordings. I don't know where you found these informations (any video ?) but the recordings don't completely agree with what you say. On the 1967 Jobim version it's |Gm7 |C/Bb | Am7 | % | Bb7sus4 | Bb/Ab | Gm7 A7b13 | , and on Daniel & Luiza Jobim it's FMaj7/A instead of Am7, according to my ears. I chose to stay on inverted II V I for easier improvisation, maybe that's a bad choice, time will tell :-)

The key is D major but it starts the interlude On D minor and does a 2-5 cadence like D Dorian
