He was teaching self empowerment, fearlessness, trust and love, all opposite of what any current religion wants you to feel.
Dearest Maleeka, my mom and grandma were followers of Rev. Ike. They used to get his mailings all the time. But I believe at the time they didn't really absorb hus teachings in a way that would really improve their lives. In many ways, they were still under the foot of mainstream religious b.s. I am so glad you created this video about the Rev. He was a magnificent being, and I am going to do my best to live the life my mom and grandma never got the chance to live and that Rev. I always wondered what the people who attended his sermons thought at the time.
One of the things I have learned is you can say you believe whatever you want. If you in your Subconcious/unconcious the opposite and stay in certain situations out of fear of failiure instead of venturing out, you will be capped by that belief and all the labor, relationships, and focuses that CHOICE intails. We have more options and information to makes dreams a reality and to shift when our dreams change. But more than anything we need faith. Period.

I don't know, he gives too much of a grifter vibe like many TH-cam coaches today. People who don't take their time to build the spirituality from within and strengthen their KNOWLEDGE of being more than a physical body, but cut straight to those guys with their "money meditations" or whatever, tend to fail and get disappointed with the whole pursuit.
I'd suggest you take your time to feel yourself to be something bigger than what you think you are, before you listen to people like this Ike dude. Neville is great btw but most others are kinda waste of time.

Hi maléeka thanks for making this. As a black person i am always trying to communicate this and and the importance of self concept! I don’t care what race I am, no one has the power to limit my potential.
I feel you I’m black as well and I grew up in the church. I also try to tell my friends be mindful of what they say. Don’t say your broke say the money hasn’t come yet. Don’t say your unemployed the job just hasn’t come yet. Your fate is only sealed once you say it is. All good things are coming!
As a black woman I agree. Saying things like “black women are less desirable” “black *inserts negative wrong statement*” is just so harmful. I always send love and good will to those who feel like they aren’t worth anything because false society says so .

Rev Ike was the only preacher that taught his congregation, what he called Mind Science, to help people achieve the intellect to manifest money or anything a person desired. No churches like that today.
As a black girl growing up in Los Angeles, I was told that Ike was not good! Stay away from him and I was too young to know why. The traditional black Christians called him blasphemous! But as a kid, I couldn’t understand the poor mentality either and I knew I didn’t want THAT! I watch Ike’s teachings now as adult and LOVE it and could only imagine how much further along I would be if I had been a child growing up in this setting. Thank you for sharing his teachings because they are definitely true teachings of how we are supposed to live in OUR power through the Gods we are.

This was a good one. Because l have been wanting to become wealthy and I didn’t realize I was still holding the assumption of black people been poor. I hadn’t realized I was still holding that as part of my identity. So it really clicked for me that I can let that go. Sometimes it feels like I have imposter syndrome wanting to have financial freedom and experience wealth when ppl have really normalized being in a struggle. I love listening to rev Ike he has helped me work on how I see myself I only hope I can be an example to show people they can change their life once I change mine ❤

I have loved your Neville content but rev Ike’s content is another great motivator to see beyond our current circumstances. Rev Ike has a lot of teachings and they are so in depth from what we’ve ever heard it takes me multiple times watching his stuff to ingrain it in my brain.
I would LOVE for there to be more of his word you dive into on your channel. You did a great job at bringing his perspective to life to that compared of what religion tries to counteract in us.
It’s just in the way that he clarifies the Bible that I feel such a deep resonation with.

Omg, I have recently gotten into him. He is incredible! I believe he teaches the bible the way it is supposed to be taught!
Rev. Ike was the usher for this generation. He was The Man! Some years ago, I asked my evangelist stepmother had she heard of him. She said yes and that he had swindled a lot of people out of money. Then, she asked me why I asked. I said no reason. In my mind, I knew she was Aurora and still a sleeping beauty. He knew the truth.
I came across your videos a few months ago and rev Ike last year. These kinds of people and conversations is what the world need.enjoying watching your videos

I remember when “that ole Rev. Ike” used to come on TV. He’s been a teacher of many. Bishop E. Bernard Jordan who mentored Rev. Run, was a student of his. Always enjoy getting different perspectives of Rev. Ike. Feels like I learn me something new each time.
Wow, thank you for introducing me to this man. I never heard of him before, but he seems to be a very interesting person and quite ahead of his time. I found it very interesting how his words and Neville Godart's teachings are practically the same, but Rev Ike is a better orator and he was trying to teach those things the common Christian people, which is really unusual and difficult especially for the decades he did it.
I was kind of sceptical about him in the beginning because of his lavish lifestyle, but later on I understood that maybe there was a point even behind that - to lead by example and show to his followers that it is possible and they could do it to.

It's crazy how so many stars have manifested their success and fame and how it is so easy for people to manifest it but still not everyone is crazy rich. Like how is this concept not that famous and if people know about it then why don't they use it!!
It takes work to change our mind and fight the preconcepts they have installed in us. Many many people love the idea but don't care enough to change. It's a choice
Because it takes a lot of work contrary to what influencers say. When you listen to people who tell you that you can get rich by just thinking yourself rich overnight or doing a couple of money meditations, you're mostly just listening to people who are not being entirely honest to keep your attention or outright scammers.
Neville was the real deal but even he downplayed somewhat the difficulty of the pursuit. Not intentionally I believe, but from his works/lectures I think we might not fully realise how much of a challenge it all is to untrained beginners.
And I don't know what the intention of Rev Ike was, but I don't recommend listening to him. This type of stuff will get you excited at first but will leave you disappointed after you don't see success as fast as he promised.
@@nikolaisedov2295 you obviously just going off some clips because Rev Ike church had classes and mastermind programs to get you to have whatever you want and need. Even today there are churches and many of his old students have open churches teach the same formulas with outstanding success. He never mentioned overnight ever. He mentioned keep coming, listening a million times. You should research how far his work has carried on until this day. And his son just wrote about his dad who you should read and you think twice. Xavier his son is doing the work still and just spoke at my church that teaches majority of Rev Ike, Neville, Dr Murphy, Eric Butterworth and many more as well . Sad you feel that way but he was the real deal and to tell folks don’t listen to his stuff is when he is a big part why Bob proctor, Joel Osteen, and many others got there inspiration from. The message is the same just expressed differently depending on the person and there environment. All the man was tell folk is believe in yourself and not him or a man in the sky. Our limitations are our limitations and not the next man or woman
@@nikolaisedov2295Rev Ike cannot force you to see yourself as prosperous and deserving of the life you truly want to live. You can walk the horse to the pond but you cannot force him to drink from it. If you don’t have determination and discipline, you will not experience all that he talked about. If he can do it, why not me?!
When I was living in SC in the mid 70s, my paternal father took my maternal grandfather to see Rev. Ike at an appearance.
Both of them have passed and yet I remember so many family members gathering around and listening to them recall their experiences there.
Rev. Ike was so far ahead of his time and it is very easy to hear his words and philosophies within other ministers’ messages today without searching hard at all.
I would love my dad and my mother to see this. I thank God for making you so beautiful.

I needed this. Ive been reading books and watching videos and have been worried the beliefs i am choosing to become , are not God lead. I needed this video , I believe God has been leading me on this path showing me these and guiding me but I’ve just been worried its not holy. It’s funny because I found rev Ike over 4 years ago and having been brought up in the church but not aligning with most of the messaging … he really resonated with me. The spirituality of the 70s I feel like was a huge gateway to us working to find ourselves today. I have quote by Ntozake Shange, a well known writer also from the 70s that says “i found god in myself and i loved her i loved her fiercely”

Thank you for this video, especially the last part. I usually see just a clip of Rev. Ike where he says that we will always have whatever we are fascinated by but I have never delved into his teachings beyond that. I have though been fascinated by him and wanted to know more about him and what he taught, you have just fulfilled that in this video.
