I would say the song is Japanese horror folk metal.

I.m new awesome. Band 👹🤘🔥
Been following Ryoji (vocalist/lead guitarist) and his brother Shuji (drummer) since the early days of Suicide Heaven/GYZE. It's amazing to see them with proper production and a whole new sound.
For anyone who doesn't know them. They started in the early 2010's under the name Suicide Heaven but changed name to GYZE after a few demos. Dude's have been at it for quite a while now. I'm coming from a nostalgia standpoint because their albums Fascinating Violence and Black Bride are what I think of when I hear Ryoji and his brother. Those albums got me through a ton of shit lmao. I used to be friends with quite a few of these guys back when they weren't as big. I even had their GYZE logo made into a sticker and put it on the rear window of my car. Ryoji even shared that on his Facebook lmao. And I remember when his brother left the band for health and personal reasons. They've gone from straight up Melodic Death Metal to a Folk Metal mixture. Glad to see them evolve.
Fun fact as well. These guys are very proud to be from Hokkaido. There's not much in that region other than harsh winters and countryside. So Metal bands are extra special there. Ryoji's massive pastime is fishing for trout and other fish. Dude has been spamming pictures of his catches on his socials for over a decade now lmao. Another fun fact is that even Japanese people can't read some of their lyrics because Ryoji likes to write in really archaic ways when writing in Japanese. I'm also sad they had to change name again to Ryujin because literally everyone mispronounced GYZE (it's "GI-ZE" not "GIZE"). I honestly miss talking to these dudes.
Another band from Hokkaido you guys might like is called Zemeth. It's a one-man Melodic Death Metal project ran by a guy named Junya Higuchi. I highly recommend his project.
