Thank's for the information on the seat mate. Just bought mine RS660. I like the look of your seat very much. Did change the back wheel to red too so I want to take the contrast from the seat. Will probably put the Evotech sliders on mine too and the Rizoma stealth mirrors look absolutely amazing! Unfortunately they are not street legal in germany. 🙄😓 So I have to watch for some others.
@@NinjaKid1985 Yes, I'm from Greece I know, Europe has some of the weirdest laws and some of the slowest cops, just saying lol. Jokes aside, I'm actually thinking of changing one of the wheels. I wasn't sure if I wanted all red or all black wheels. So I did some renders on photoshop and posted them on "Aprilia 660 owners group" on Facebook page. People there upload their builds to share ideas and I concluded after seeing all possible options to probably go with all black wheels. You should definitely add the Evotech sliders! I think the Rizoma Mirrors and the seat cover is what really transformed the bike.

Great choice of upgrades for the bike. Minus the mirrors and seat cover. As my gf would NEVER let me get away with a passenger seat cover.

This bike looks really good with the mods chosen! I think this might even look better than the Panigale V2, but looks are subjective.

He Ed. Sorry for the late reply. This one is a no-brainer. R&G are not as strong because of their single mounting point AND they require cutting the fairing. Deal breaker in my book. Evotech have two mounting points (stronger) and no fairing modifications required.
@@Victor_Moto R&G do a no drill kit frame slider with two mounting points for the RS660. Not as cheap as the Evotech but I think they look nicer. Take a look on their website as they are shown next to the cheaper drill kit version.

They appear to have been resolved since the most recent wave of production.

Did the frame sliders also protect the gas tank and the tail? I’m thinking about getting the rs660 and already looking at protection mods!
Depends on how it falls. Add carbon fiber tank and tail protection.
Do these mirrors have less vibration that the OEM ones? Mine are useless above 6k. Thanks for the videos Victor!

@@charada2345 I bought from Amazon a VViViD red vinyl wrap and a VViViD knifeless cutting tape to create the lines and wrapped it. I felt that the rear needed a touch of red to match the flow of the front. Kind of like the RSV4.

But as with the mirrors I mentioned in the other comment, I have to wait for a street legal one in germany. Shitty damn Euro5 regs.!

Oh you mean the levers? I pointed those out. 2:41 Spider Levers.
@@Victor_Moto no i meant the actual handle bars, they always seem higher on the 660, in this particular bike they look more sporty, like a proper supersport bike

Many who own this bike have had many issues regarding the engine and electronics. My friend is having a terrible time with his bike, engine lights, stalling, not starting, dealing with the dealership and now excessive vibration ..... His is now looking for a lemon law lawyer.

@@Victor_Moto Thanks for asking Victor. Not allowed to share who and where according to his lawyer. It really angers me to see my friend excited to get this bike and ending up with a lemon. How can a company put out a bike with so many issues? You would never see this with the Japanese manufactures.
@@braverabbit That's a bummer. Recently, we had an RS660 with sudden running issues, would not idle and loss of power. We found the issue, filed a warranty claim and fixed the bike within 10 days or so.
