- Hello! Thank you so much for watching my Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition highlight video. This was originally streamed on Twitch and has been edited exclusively just for TH-cam. This is the first part of the highlight video, and obviously this is just a warm up of what's next to come. I absolutely adored this game and it has become my favorite game of all time (as of now). I loved the characters, the world, the music, and most of all, THE STORY.
This video includes the prologue, character introduction (Shulk, Reyn, Fiora, Dunban), Colony 9, Mechon Invasion, surprising cutscene, and our journey to Colony 6.

♡ ABOUT THE GAME ♡
Xenoblade Chronicles is an action role-playing game developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo for the Wii. Initially released in Japan in 2010, it was later released in the PAL regions in 2011 and then in North America in 2012. A port for the New Nintendo 3DS was released in 2015, and a remaster for the Nintendo Switch was released in May 2020. Xenoblade Chronicles is the first entry in the Xenoblade Chronicles series, a subseries which forms part of the larger Xeno metaseries. Although no direct narrative connections exist to previous Xeno games, it incorporates aesthetic and narrative elements from both fantasy and science fiction. The game features navigation through an open world split into zones, side-quests tied to party members' affinity, and a real-time action-based battle system which incorporates the main character's ability to see brief glimpses of the future.
Xenoblade Chronicles takes place on the frozen bodies of two warring titans, the Bionis and the Mechonis. The people of Bionis, including the human-like Homs, are in a perpetual war with the Mechon machine race of Mechonis. Key to the Homs' efforts in fighting against the Mechon army is the Monado, a sword that is said to have been wielded by the Bionis. During an attack on his colony, the main protagonist Shulk discovers his ability to wield the Monado and sets out on a quest for revenge with his best friend, Reyn, with others joining in as the game progresses.

- Heh, get used to the effton of side quests. Luckily, the majority of them just automatically complete without you needing to return to the client.
- Remember, Shulk is an engineer. He already knew the Monado was harmless toward Homs, so he didn't need to worry about it hurting Fiora. I-I'm not saying his choice of words wasn't clumsy, granted! Just...this is the kind of nerdy boy we're starting out with.
- His name was altered in the English dub, but Vangarre is technically the Vandham of this entry of the Xeno games.
(Don't worry, he's fine. Some of the Defence Force soldiers confirm it soon after the attack.)

Oh yeah, don't know if you ever knew about this information but the entire Xeno game series were supposed to be a final fantasy game. Xenogears to be correct but the rest of the similar systems or mechanics.
Hopefully you'll play Xenogears 1&2 (in JP dubbing) and Xenosaga 1, 2 and 3. Including Xenoblade X, there's also a possibility that the 4th Xeno game may entangle the entire franchise together.
hi there! wait, the entire xeno series? i thought it was only xenogears? and yes, i'll be playing xenogears later this year for the first time! and i didn't know that there's xenogears 2??
@@skyeifer Let me clarify that the Xenogears 2 was mostly a part two game disc that continues game dics 1. The PS1 version of it.
