I’m a 53 year old white American male metal head. Been a fan of Blackpink since Day 1, 8 years ago. Seen them live twice. There is much more bass in real life and they tour with a live rock band playing their music. Their concerts are epic. King Charles personally made them honorary members of the British Empire.
They are EVERYTHING. You can't go wrong loving this girls. They are so incredibly talented. I was able to see them 3 times on the last tour and I'll fly anywhere to see them again. Nothing tops Blackpink. Modern day Greek Sirens

In my opinion Blackpink is the best of the best. Individually each of the girls is a superstar and as a group they are megastars. Outside of music they are global ambassadors for some of the biggest fashion brands in the world and just last year were awarded MBE for their fight against climate change by King Charles of England. Biggest girl group in the world. Majority of them speaks 3-4 different languages fluently. Lisa the rapper speaks 5 languages. 3 fluently : English, Korean and thai. Advanced in japanese and basic in chinese.

Also Blackpink’s videos have a lot of symbolism in them. In this video the girl in the pink hair(Jisoo) is walking down the runway and the crowd is not even looking at her as they are focusing on the picture behind her but as soon as she trips and falls down all the people are pointing their cameras at her like a gun symbolism for if you mess up all the focus is on you.

Love Blackpink, but if you want a rockier sound, check on Rolling Quartz, Rock and Roll Paradise live would be a good song to start with.

Blackpink fans are called "Blinks" (from BL ackp INK) and of course we know everything about them. We know all their songs (they don't have many, less than 40) and also all their MVs. It is worth noting that they hardly use a green screen and that all the sets are real. For almost all the MVs there are other behind-the-scenes ones where you can see the sets. I recommend that you watch each and every one of their MVs because they are masterpieces. I also recommend the dance practices, almost all recorded in a single take, especially "How you like that" which has more than a billion views, even surpassing the MV.
Then, each of the members has a couple of solo songs that I also recommend watching.
Blackpink is the revolution and their songs are priceless. In addition to those that have MVs, there are many that have videos with color codes to know who sings and to know the lyrics in Korean and English. They have beautiful ballads and if you keep reacting you will see that they are unique and do not resemble any other group in the world.

If you like J-rock, I recommend Dreamcatcher's Good Night from K-pop. Dreamcatcher has a sound that mixes rock and K-pop.
