That's terrific. But will wait 'till you guys fix the flawed track limits in your game, a source of frustration for anyone that's played RR. Maybe 2026?
I (and many others) would disagree with you. The tracklimits are as clear as they can be. On tire has to be inside the white line. Period. No testing how far you can leave the track for each corner, because you simply see and know where the track limits are. Clear for everybody. KW please don‘t „fix“ it.
Track limits are fine. Same for everyone, one tire in the track. Done . The problem is that no penalties for track limits. You can do whatever you want without any penalties. Also car damage is a thing. You can crash your way and nothing happens to the car. And the AI at some tracks needs work. Like in the AVUS track, packed cars cant take tight corners without crashing each other.
Unfortunately too many "maybe"s from the ADAC guy towards the future of DTM. There is a lot to critizise about Gerhard Berger, but at least he had a clear--yet too expensive--vision. I don't think we will see an own ruleset under the ADAC yet they will copy regulations that work in other series.
I see people using hood view for the in person event. Is that becoming the accepted realistic/sim view vs cockpit? I always felt everyone should use the cockpit view but maybe there's an argument for it?
I prefer hood cam too, except open wheelers. The reason is i don't have tipple screens or vr. Cockpit cam ( on any sim game) feels unreal coz in a real car you can see all around with just a move of the head.
If I'm going for a simulation I prefer 100% the cockpit cam. It would feel weird for me to see just the hood. That's not how we drive (probably after 25 years of driving I'm biased haha😅). Also depends on the rig. In my case have dashboard, wind, button box. It wouldn't make sense to see from the hood. But to each its own❤
@@TheMash84 as you said, depends on the rig you have. With my poor 27" screen is hard to find the best FOV for each car. Also, fun is what we look for in sim racing so everyone enjoys it different 😁

Can’t even touch a curb on some tracks it seems!

@@Argy_V that is wishful thinking, on real world they don't all drive Mazda miatas.
@@bedi1982 it doesn't matter what you drive, with a small movement of your head you can check all your mirrors.
