I have built many Tamiya kits, from military kits to the F-1 kits. Their kits are always a joy to build because they are well made and designed kits. :)
Getting on a bit of a military kick here lately huh Doug? You're not alone, my Tamiya dealer has been loving me lately. Building a Tiger now with four more kits waiting.
I'm building one right now and the only thing that I noticed that could be improved would be to add clear head light lenses, otherwise I just paint them silver with a transparent white paint over the sliver to make the look of head light lenses
@@RightOnReplicas not trying to spar with you, but I'll make my point and be done. It's not that they don't have competent translators, but rather is it necessary to name every piece? Tamiya has some of the best assembly instructions in the model world, naming every part will clutter any attempt to have concise, clear, well laid out assembly guide which already has colour call outs and key assembly information in generally four languages. If your benchmark is AMT style kits and instructions made only to satisfy the American market back in the days of yore I can understand your point, but Tamiya is light years ahead even back then. Cheers
S, I can appreciate your point of view. But I don't think including a separate list of part names like Revell does would complicate the instructions. As far as being light years ahead, their kits have issues and errors too but one thing that is really futuristic is their prices! -Doug

"Tamiya doesn't say parts names, because they don't understand them" lol, okay bud..
SD, Well, honestly the jargon particular to automotive part names can be difficult to translate! -Doug
