Hi from Seattle! New subscriber here. Nice haul. I am so grateful for food pantry. Being disabled on a tight budget the food really helps. Such a blessing. The cream cheese would be good on graham crackers. Kind of a mock cheese cake😋 I hope you enjoyed all of your stuff😊 It's an Around the world food pantry haul. How cool!!
Thanks for Subscribing. Yes the food bank is Such a Great blessing, we are durable and on a tight budget to especially more trying to pay off my husband's dental implant Surgery loans. Thanks again for Subscribing. I can never have to many friends. Follow me on Facebook and Instagram for more content, and just daily day to day life 💞
A good way of refreshing stale chips (or crisps as we call them in the UK!) Is to pop them into the oven for a couple of minutes and it makes them taste really good and they're yummy when they're hot! X
we used to get little casers pizzas. blanch the celery after you dice it up and dehydrate it I do it all the time. you can do the same to all those peppers and squash
I did something with the squash 😳 not sure that I love it, though. Watch tomorrow, and tell me what you think? What did I do wrong? What should I do differently? Thanks for watching 💞
If anything give the stale old snack items to the birds and squirrels like the popcorn. You can crumble the chips a bit or the chips you can make bread crumbs for coating pork chops or chicken to fry or when you you make something like scalloped potatoes or baked macaroni and cheese
That is a fabulous idea! Have you visited my husband's channel @mjbsimplyliving ? If not you should. He had some great videos of the birds, at our back yard feeders. 💞
@@CandanceBrewer no but I will I had to buy a new feeder as our other was wooden and basically it's the bottom the main support had lots of wood rotting. So after a few months of little to no seed the birds here are trying to figure out the new feeder I bought them. It's a cylindrical type with 5 or 6 access points to the seeds and 2 bars the smaller ones can perch on or the bigger birds can perch on the main rim and support and access the feed too. I plan to get another but want to wait to see how they do with new one. They showed a lot of interest in the first 2 days it was up. I also have a hummingbird feeder I intend to hang when the weather is right
Hey, Momma Candace and how are you. Wow, every time you go to the Food Bank you get blessed. Pizza is my favorite food. Momma Candace God be looking out for you for real. I just found out about the New Food Bank in my area. It's been a long time since I visited a Food Bank. Getting some additional Health Insurance starting in March and it includes a Pre-paid card that I can use to buy groceries, over-the-counter products or pay Utility bills. God is so good all the time. Thanks for sharing and you be Blessed. 😊😊😊
Thank you 🤗 I thought so too. My daughter said she didn't want to do it though, and so we blessed @lifewithgrannyt for her grandbabies. I know they will have fun putting it together. I hope she videos it. 🙂
Hi Candy! New subscriber here :) working my way through all your videos! Please show us the soups you make! Sorry not sure if you already have and I've just not got to that video yet 😂 xx
Welcome, Thanks for subbing! Here are a few I've done, but I'm always trying to craft something new. th-cam.com/play/PLIosD23C8-9l6NSnPkLSpntNyaaUqy9yd.html
You can dehydrate celery. I've done it blanched and unblanched and I really prefer the blanched then dehydrated. Those cookies look to be a Japanese sugar cookie. The strawberry custard is probably a cooked custard/pudding. Hyderabadi rice is an Indian rice dish.
If your celery is destined to become one of your delicious soups, then you certainly can dehydrate it. Blanch it first to keep it green, otherwise it turns a sort of tan color -- bleagh! 😝 I wash and cut the stalks into thirds, depending on how big they are. (Store bought celery is usually bigger than my garden celery.) Bring a large pot of water to the boil, then dump the celery stalks in, and leave for about a minute. Drain, then immerse them in ice water, or rinse under cold water. Slice the blanched celery into 1/2 inch slices and put the slices into your dehydrator, leaving about 1/4 inch of space all around the slices, (or you can dry it in your regular oven set to the lowest heat, unless your oven has a 135F setting...most don't, so you just need to prop the oven door open, which wastes heat). It takes about 6-8 hours to get to the crispy-dry stage. Let them cool down for 15 minutes and store in glass jars away from direct light and heat. The leaves take less time to dry, and don't need to be blanched, though they will turn a little brownish. They will still taste awesome!
I, like every other car driving through, just open our trunks, and they put in whatever they put in. They don't ask us how many families or people. But the places that do ask, you write it on a form with the number of people in your household. Ours is 3. You so should go if you want to. Check on Facebook for food banks near you. I hope you are blessed with more than you need so you can share with others 💞 Thanks for watching and commenting
No. I go 3 times a week. To 3 different drive-through pantries. if I'm able, I will go to more, because I have several friends and family's that are in need and can't get out to them. Thanks for watching 💞

If your chips are stale you can crisp them in the oven and they will taste fresh .
I didn't know that. Thanks

@@CandanceBrewer Same here! I'd like to hear what you do with your celery if you decide to dehydrate it.
I ended up giving it to my sister @LifeWithGrannyT
@@CandanceBrewer Thanks -- will check out the link.
How long and what temperature do you dehydrate the bell peppers?
I believe it was the lowest setting 135, or 145, and about 4-6 hours until completely dry. 💞
Maybe have lettuce wraps with the beef?

If it was a drive-through one, and it started at 10, I'd try to go at least an hour early, if not two hours early. Just get in line and park. 💞
Was it in Asia?😄😂😂😂
