As you can imagine, traveling across all 48 states as fast as we did, making videos along the way... I will occasionally misspeak. Given that I edit these after the fact, I can't go back and re-record in that setting, so here is something to note from this video in Vermont: When talking about Year Round Open Enrollment for supplement plans... this is not a REQUIREMENT of all insurance companies in Vermont, however, there are insurance companies that do allow for year round Open Enrollment. The video explains that the state of Vermont has Open Enrollment year round - it should state that certain insurance companies have year round open enrollment.
Oatmeal with granola and yogurt topping… and of course, maple syrup! Thanks for the video. Vermont insurance is very expensive because so few people liver here to spread the costs.
VT - Gorgeous! Really expensive though. My Mom originally wanted to relocate there but ended up in NH, same scenery, less expensive - her words! LOL. I don't usually eat breakfast, but I like a good omelet!
I live in Vermont. We have to undergo underwriting if we switch supplement plans or go on a Medigap from Advantage. I don’t understand why Vermont is called Guarantee Issue.
I just pinned a comment on this video explaining this. Hopefully it clarifies this. Maple Syrup!. Vermont Maid Maple Syrup(though I don’t think, it was ever pure maple syrup?) was always on our kitchen table as a child. We tried several others Mrs Butterworth’s was a one time and out at it’s coming out in New London, Ct. As was Log Cabin. Something added, didn’t taste natural.(to me) I’m here in San Francisco now. Have friends in Vermont
It’s a shame that seniors pay so much more for medical care coverage than people who don’t work (Medicaid). That’s so wrong wish the government would fix this. Vt maple syrup can’t be beat
You've made it to the People's Democratic Republic of Vermont. (It's beautiful but.....) I do like REAL maple syrup that comes from New England or Canada. It costs more, but it's much better than the "fake" syrups.

@@Theretirementnerds Thanks for that explanation.
Thanks so much for your visit to Vermont. I appreciate your very informative videos.
I hope you took home a gallon of our maple syrup!
I just saw your previous comment on the other video first! Haha!
I pointed you to this video but I see now that you already saw this one :)

Thank you so much for watching! 🥞
Hard to beat a really good eggs Benedict! And we’d never bash you, Erik. 😊
Haha! You're the best!
We have some haters out there 🔭🍳
@@Theretirementnerds Haha. Can’t imagine why anyone would do that. Jealousy? 😊

She probably made the right choice.

Almost as far from Vermont as it gets 🙂
Thank you for watching!
Gold, silver, tin, nickel. Or gold n silver backed currency.
Not to mention that it can be difficult to switch from an ADvNTAGE PLAN TO A SPPLIMENTAL. I had an advantage plan for two years and was penalized
Have been thinking of going back East. I dunno’. Like your ❤ channel
Thank you for tuning in!
I've seen this trend towards maple syrup and sriracha sauce on burgers. I've never tried it but it doesn't sound great to me.
Wow... interesting combo 🤔

It's a complicated setup for sure. Appreciate you watching! 🥞

My go to syrup is whatever my lovely wife chooses, haha. And I deal with it from there.
Maple syrup
Thank you so much! 🥞
