Now this is a pretty neat idea. I bought some of these types of molds from Walmart last year on clearance and have not used them for anything yet, but you've just given me a wonderful idea to try. That little guy of yours is so darn cute. I so glad that I found your channel. You have great content and is easy to follow along with. Thanks for sharing again and for being a huge inspiration to me 😘👍💕💕
@@jeiasjewelry6818 I purchased a 4 pack of silicone straws (from Big Lots, I believe). I measured and cut a piece to fit, then tacked it down inside the mold with a bit of hot glue. A bit of the resin oozed around as an overpour, but was fairly easily removed after it cured. It was also a bit of a tight fit but simply used my dremel to sand it out a tad so it slipped off and on. I also use the straws as molds quite often actually. I am usually stick to UV resin, but was one of my few 2 part epoxy pours. I made several for my grandkids, who are total Star Wars fans lol. I still have some 2 part epoxy so am going to make them some keychains next, sometimes the obvious ideas just slide right past me lol.
@@ResinBelle I totally understand that! When the mood to create hits, the rest of the world kinda fades into background until its done lol. Where there is a will, there is a way ;->

Thanks a bunch! Have fun using those molds!
That is such an amazing idea. It came out adorable ❤.
Such a wonderful idea, I love it ❤
I do something similar except I place a silicon straw inside the mold and pour around it. It's much easier cleanup 👍💞
I thought to do that but then looked all over for my silicone straw and couldn't find it lol. I was ready to sacrifice lol.
@toughtimes6596 can you share how you did that?

thanks
Hi, i just saw a video from stitchery 4 bits, and she has a great idea. Maybe you can try what she did so you dont have to layer so much 🤔
Thanks
Silicon straw would be better I think and or just a mold that is for straw topper backs and attach it with us resin
