This reminds me of my favorite custom palette which is based on our backyard picnic table which has lichen of purple and green as well as silver, grays and cool toned browns. I'm going to be building a new palette called Bog Spirit that reminds me of walking through a bog at twilight, which is something I recently did. I feel like Bog Spirit would be a great name for this palette you just made!

I have just given myself permission to go with it, and I dug out the grungiest, swampiest green eyeshadow palette I could find. (Thank you, Ace Beaute Tropical Vibes!) Thank you for giving us "permission" to not always do "pretty and flattering". I know we don't need permission, but sometimes we think we do!! I'm naming my look "badass dark wolf". These BYOP videos of yours give me life. Thank you. So much creative juice and I love how you enable both freedom and structure in your process. Also I concur as an olive undertone person, green eyeshadow is a tumultuous pursuit though constantly alluring! I do much better with the warm greens and bronzed greens than blue based greens as a general guideline. The blue based greens just melt into my under eye circles and the blue portion of my olive skin and then look very, um, heroin chic. Which I guess is a look but not one I’m currently aiming for.

Your eyeshadow palette evokes the kind of anger and sense of necessary anarchy that young people expressed in Punk or Emo. I just been watching Pistols recently, not that great but the drama shows the anger that was expressed at that time by young people and how it channeled into a real creative movement. Even now Vivienne Westwood is a champion for the environment and for freedom of expression, supporting for example, Julian Assange. She even designed Assange's new wife's wedding dress this year. Am I making any sense? Well, I LOVED your edited palette and the colour story behind it.

Love the colour story. I would be interested in another look / review of Isamaya Beauty palette and mascara. You had previously mentioned that you did not like the look of the colours but after watching Isamaya Ffrench latest TH-cam video swatching the palette it had a similar colour story but with some additional colours. It is also a very grungy.
Re: old gum blush. I have an old physicians formula butter blush in "blum" that is very cool toned, and after it broke and I repressed it, it changed color ever so slightly and looks very very close to this. It's one if my favorite fall/winter shades and this us making me want to make a cream version using my salt new york collection!
Nothing better than a weekend, drinking my tea in bed and watching an overhead HLP commentary on her singles. Today I am going to play with colours too, but not with makeup , but my watercolours, and think of words liked ‘textured’ Daniel Smith pigments or ‘juicy’ Qor or ‘creamy’ M Grahams or ‘dirty inky’ Sumi Gansai . I Have to …..because I swapped my makeup buying addiction into the Act of buying art supplies and WC …..and not appreciating them. My No buy July (and appreciating what I have) has to extend both genres- makeup And art supplies
That Juvia's Place eyeshadow would be perfect to put down with the Clionadh eyeshadow over it. I personally find that my Clionadh black base multichromes look better with a black foundation of eyeshadow under them. Plus I think that may help them not crease as much on me with my hooded eyes. I always use primer too, so double the foundation. And if they do crease it's only a little noticeable if you're really looking for it.

But I don't want to make multiple purchases to gather up all these shades independently, and with the individual shipping and customs fees into Canada. I am quite confident in claiming that I would be your first customer would you ever decided to partner or create your own brand.

My suggestion: Dig Deep, Dear - I strongly believe that green is a go-to color for Americans because of our love of nature and the comfort that we take in it. We know how strong and resilient it is, and we cling to it(ask it to be part of our lives) when we feel the most upset and lost. Nature is the most subversive force I know of. Also, consider Robin Hood(who wears green and lives in the greenwood), thrown out of his home but still taking care of others who lost their homes; consider Peter Pan(dressed in green leaves and other plant matter), the ultimate rebellion being to maintain a child-likeness, even when wickedness storms around our home.
