Thanks for this video. In the video, you said the waist of the top part is 38inches but you added 4 inches seam allowance but when you wanted to cut the lower part, you used 40 inches waist measurement. Why is this? How were you able to adjust for the 2 inches difference when joining?

I did not see you add extra fabric to the front for the crisscross like I normally see people do. I have made the bottom to be six pieces and I want the top part to be what you just made with spaghetti straps. Please tell me what to do. Also, if I fold the fabric into two with wrong side up and place the front piece and cut, would I not get it right instead of cutting them one after the other. My God will forever bless you. HELP 911. Lol.

What calculations did you use to come up with the measurement of 10 for the waist? I couldn't figure that out

4 metres is what you need. The gathers need a lot of fabric.
