This fight between the church and tradition is uncalled for. The two cannot be separated but because of the hypocrisy of religion which is actually a human intervention and the ignorance in the tradition brings a fight. Let's set the facts correct:
    1. What you're calling the mzungus plan to rule over us forever and eliminate tradition is not Christianity it is religion which was sold to our forefathers by force.
    2. The Bible is a book written by people - (there is a possibility that they did not know even about God) bt they were inspired by God's spirits that why we call it holy. Just the way you could read science book to know more about science, the same way if you read the bible you would know about God. Now, some will question how can we believe it is God's book? but I ask them, why do they believe about the story of Gikuyu and mumbi yet they were not there when Gikuyu was talking with God? Simple, they believe that story because they want to, and that is the same way when it comes to bible....you either believe it or not,,,no one can force you....
    3. When you read about the israelites in the bible, you here about their culture, just like kikuyus has their culture,, bt these cultures used just to tell us who is God, how powerful he is, how we should honour him...but through culture you can only know God by what you hear about him and so this puts you on risk of disobeying him because maybe what you were told about him was a lie,,,,and so he chose to make himself known to everyone through his son.
    4. When you say that Jesus is not a son of God and he never came here on earth and died then resurrected; that a lie and ignorance.......a quick prove is this,,,before christianity came in kikuyu land, we used to have Ngomas which were believed were rejected spirits of those who died and were bad people. They used to visit people and cause suffering. And it was true, these were rejected spirits....but when Jesus died he went down, made all the rejected souls to get saved and they rested. Since the introduction of the gospel in kikuyu land, the Ngomas no longer visit people...they all got saved,,,today when you die, you either saved or not...there is no second chance since Jesus won't come to save the dead again....
    5. When you say, kikuyus should marry many wives to obey their tradition, yet you continue to tell us about Gikuyu and Mumbi, I did not hear the second wife of Gikuyu....or we have another Gikuyu?
    6. When you say, there is no kikuyu who can never be a christian, I am left wondering how does me having a personal relationship with God such that he can talk even directly to me not neccessarily through a prophet or mundu mugo(this is the meaning of being a christian) disqualify me from being a kikuyu who claim they love and fear and obey the same God?
    7. Why aren't you telling us about the Muratina? That it is not meant to be drunk until people get drunk since God hates indecency, that it is meant to bless and seal any agreement and that it is used symbolically since it have ingredients which are for specific purpose. In church, we use wine in a small proportion for symbolization just as muratina should be used bt unfortunately you drink it till you get drunk.
Free advice- I guess you love God, I guess you're genuine that you fear him because he is God, then stop demeaning whatever is associated with God.
The fight should be against religion not christianity, against hypocrisy of some religious leaders not the children of God, against Retrogressive culture like FGM not against empowered women, Against irresponsible parents not single mothers, Against the drunkenness in our kikuyu land not the church wine.
Any further question can be directed to me with no insults or demeaning language....lets have a conversation not an argument.

Mweusi culture should never rhyme with the oppressers. Muthungu ni thuu and whatever analetea Mweusi is to destroy him. Am against anything representing mzungu shetani. Muthungu as much as you May want to beleieve He is like you He is Not. And thats a fact. About kikuyu Tradition yes communities are made by a bunch of rules and a black man should Stick to his ways.
