- Not every child actor continues to pursue the craft as they grow up, despite the hopes of their many fans. Dylan and Cole Sprouse were the blonde twins at the center of Disney Channel’s hit show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and later its spin-off, The Suite Life on Deck.
While Cole has established himself as one of the stars of The CW’s Riverdale, we haven’t heard as much from Dylan in recent years. He’s continued to work, but he hasn’t limited himself to acting. Let’s take a look at why you haven’t been hearing about Dylan Sprouse lately.

I grew up watching them and I'm glad that Disney didn't turn them into freaks.
It's because they're boys. Well, were boys. If they were girls, they would have been sexualized a lot more and would have to have worked harder to gain fame. Disney would have destroyed them like they destroyed Miley Cyrus.
Disney didn’t make stars that way, there was always something dark going on behind the scenes, it’s why so many young actresses or child actors are so messed up, Hollywood is a hellish place not to mention the parents that screw their kids over for money...

Exactly. I worked for my last employer for 5 years and liked what I was doing. I turned down a promotion three times in those five years because I just plain didn't want to do what my boss did. Sure it was more money but it was also a much bigger time commitment. Everyone told me I was crazy or worse. The only thing for Dylan that is important is that he is happy doing what he is doing. His career certainly isn't being harmed. He is choosing work that fits his artistic goals. Basically he is choosing art over money. I respect him a lot more than a lot of actors who will just work on any project without regard to quality simply because they meet their price. Cole might have a somewhat higher profile at the moment but I'm convinced that in ten years Dylan will have more trophies on his trophy shelf.
People don’t realize or I guess some media people don’t realize that sometimes it’s a choice the actors made and they make it sound like it was a bad thing but they’re happy and they’re working yes there’s nothing wrong with it they make a sound like it’s bad I mean he was a child star so we thought he probably that’s what he loved to do when he was a kid but when you grow up sometimes you change you know it was you know you wanna do something else there’s nothing wrong with that I don’t mean you know he can’t get jobs I just miss you you know he wanted to do something else or just bring it out I mean him and his brother didn’t want to sit there and do things together forever you know movies go to two separate people you don’t like you said a job is a job people don’t understand I don’t seem like people understand actor singers those are jobs these people that you idolize celebrities are working there people working and living their dreams and it should matter long as you’re happy

Dylan flat out said that he doesn’t want to do big Hollywood movies or mainstream shows. I love that he owns his own company, that Dylan set himself up with a steady income so he can focus on smaller projects, on low budget films that strikes a fancy with him. He’s a very smart young man, who knows what he is doing and is enjoying life the way he wants to live it.
What a healthy, sane, balanced person.... good on him.

No I still think they’re exactly like their characters. “Cody” Cole Sprouse has a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology and participated in two digs/excavations in Africa. He’s a genius still. “Zack” Dylan Sprouse studied and has a degree in video game design. I always knew his character on the show would do more lowkey artist things and now the real actor is doing the exact stuff.
Btw Cole is also an artist and prides himself in his photography. Seriously these two guys are just amazing men and incredibly great catches

I just saw him in the short film 'Daddy' which was made after this video was produced. He is strikingly handsome, some would say beautiful, with the most gorgeous long dark blond hair I think I've ever seen on a guy. May he continue to prosper and occasionally grace our screens as an actor.

Dylan was my favorite during the Suite Life of Zac and Cody. Even though he isn't in as in high profile roles as his brother, i'm glad hes still happy and enjoying his life.

I'm sure DYLAN SPROUSE wouldn't have a problem finding a acting gig.
He has a few movies. The latest ones are Dismissed,Banana Split, and the newest sequel to After on Netflix now is After we Collided at theaters then it should be on Netflix.
He's been acting. He just hasn't been as high profile as his brother. Dylan tends to choose more artistic roles in independent projects and Cole chooses higher profile roles by major production companies. Dylan has more freedom to do what he wants. Cole has to conform to a mold to keep his job and income. Personally I think Dylan is the smarter of the two. I think he is happier.

If anyone's wondering what Dylan is up to now, he's playing the lead male role in a Chinese fantasy movie called The Curse of Turandot. I just found out and checked out the trailer. (From the info I gathered, this movie is about a curse that's placed on the female lead. And the only way to break it is with the help of a foreign prince).
And I'm sooooooo happy he's unrestricted and he's been exploring different genres, outside Hollywood. Plus, he's speaking Chinese in this movie👀. Makes me excited about what he does in the future.
I watch this not because I'm a fan of the Sprouse twins but I find it very motivating that someone like them who has the money and resources chose to work hard like everyone else. Yet here I am unable to do anything with my life. Very inspiring, I'll watch this every now and then to remind myself that I should try to be half as cool as him.

It's 2019, never thought I would be back watching the Suite Life on Deck again through Disney Plus. I just really missed Dylan and Cole and love how they didn't drastically change growing up because of Disney. These two will always be my all-time favorite actors just because of all the childhood memories and laughs they gave me. I have nothing but respect and love for these guys. If you were a true fan, you wouldn't go around belittling them at what they do now or ever. I know Dylan or Cole would never see this but I just want them to know how much I appreciate the both of them.
