Excellent abstract ! All my signatures are interesting and “fun”. No two are alike. Like the painting itself, that’s what I enjoy doing. It’s part of my identity. Did you say why it shouldn’t be “cute” ? What is the reason for “non-cuteness” ?

John im curious, with my tape it will lift off color and paper as well when i put it over watercolor. What paper/tape/watercolor are you using.
In one of the videos that Michele (my TH-cam teacher) has suggested, was to rub the tape against a cloth to keep it from being so sticky.
