That's what happened with my daughter last year! Academic year started in july and from July till the end of January, they were teaching mechanics to her and her classmates, and when i asked to them, what about remaining syllabus? they told me, it's a game of only 3/4 months, and after february, schools were locked down, and my daughter is completing her 11th remaining syllabus till now. I'm sharing your video to our parents group now! Hope it will help them to understand how this coaching industry works!

I also thought JEE in 11th- mid 12th was about innovating answers spot on during exam, due to the hawaa created by people around us especially media, But most of it was normal studying by learning pre- specified methods for specific type of question & repeating this over and over again . In Exam already algorithm is set , for this type of question this method is fixed.
*Therefore JEE mains is EASY*

2017: I got admission into a local coaching in class 12th after being ill in half 11th. 5th day in physics class, I was the only one to solve a question in 60 student class. It continued. In mains level test I used to rank ~3rd-4th but in advance I was mostly 1st. My answer to 'how I did that' used to be : Advance is Basic. Learn the basic concepts, postulates and try to derive the formula used. That's it. And this strong background was the reason I got a 7k rank in advance even after no touch with JEE material after jan 2018. (some unavoidable circumstances)

Absolutely correct. Even I find that trying to understand something myself might take a bit more time, but I end up learning it so much better and then I never forget it. Everyone should try to derive all the formulas that we are expected to remember, that way you know how we got the formula in the first place, what assumptions we made during the derivation(so that we know the cases where we cant apply the formula) and in case you forget the formula you can quickly derive it. Now some might say that deriving the formula during the exam is not feasible, but when I do this over and over while solving practice papers, eventually I'm able to memorize the formula OR I know the derivation so well that I derive the formula in my mind in about 15-20 seconds (which I admit, is still a substancial amount of time in JEE).
Plus maine bahut koshish ki, par mujhse ratne wala kaam nahi hota 😅

First principle is about what elon musk talks about. nice to here it from a guide too. What you said was exactly true. Even I study the way you are telling although i could not make into any iit or nit but i am happy by the concept you shared and even the students from normal schools without coaching can crack JEE its not about coaching but its only about self studying and learning to apply the things you read. What you said is 100% correct bhai. Respect for sharing such content. I was so coaching dependent and at sometimes was also depressed of not completing syllabuses from each 1000-1500 page books. Wasn’t selected in JEE and had to choose a tier 3 college. But now I learn everything on my own, gain the resources and seek teachers only for sufficient doubts. I advise everybody not to go behind the size but the quality of your respective education.
