The highlight for me was the sportsmanship between Van Aert and Pidcock after the crash; cycling is such a beautiful sport sometimes. Two great rivals for sure.
as a late adopter did you ever ask yourself why Roglic crashes more than lifelong cyclists like MVDP, Wout or Pidcock who have been riding and racing for 15-20 years.
@nonwatcher yeah I know, but still my point stands Roglic crashes too much, more than most and I assume it is because he doesn't have the deeply engrained bike handling skills
@@CG-99 Those are my exact thoughts brother! At first I thought he just kept getting unlucky, but after so many crashes that can't just be the case anymore. Some of them seem to happen because of his unawareness and lack of pure steering/handling skills.
why would u think he wouldn't win. this parcour screams roglic's name. only pogacar has a harder kick in this sorta climb. idk why jumbo said they picked wout for the stage.
Yes! I am not so thrilled because Roglic won. I am thrilled because with Roglic winning while Alaphillipe was on his tail. Just tells me there is good racing ahead of us this year. Pogacar distanced Vingegaard in Paris-Nice, but both have been pretty fit so far, and we all know that the two of them being fit matters so much more in July. And, we have seen an assortment of sprinters taking races in the early season. We have lots of good racing ahead. YES!!!
Roglic is 33yo but still look like 25 yo. He is one of the fittest guys in peleton. So I don’t see the reason why he wouldn’t race 5 more years on that level!
Roglic of old would have demolished that field. This would have been a tailor made course for him. I dont think he was even going for the win. He just kept on pedalimg and everyone was kinda going backwards. He isnt back Im afraid. It will take a few more days or weeks or months. We will see
That hurt to see Van Aert & Pidcock go down. Glad they both had no hard feelings.
Seemed like Van Aert just wanted to find a hole that wasent quit there.
@@Djuntas I feel Bouwman moved right without reason and accidentally cause his teammate to crash.
Well said mate. You wouldn't see that in football
Great to see the sportsmanship in cycling
they both knew it was not their day..so they don't want to get things over their head with the crash and just try onto the next stage.
Aaaanndd he's back! Let's go Primoz!

primos smile is back...nice
Thanks GCN R
all smiles here
I’m holding my breath because every time we declare “roglic is back” something terrible happens
I dont think he has any chance against pog and vin

@@CG-99 funny you bring that comment after a stage where Wout and Pidcock crashed

So great to see Roglic back and winning! I didn’t think he could win with 10 km to go, but he has pleasantly surprised.. more of this pls ❤😊

@@sudsehun76 no doubt. Out of all the riders on the world tour this screams Pog & Rog. This Stage was Completely in their wheelhouse.
Roglic has been overlooked in all cycling media, he's still top 5 in the world imo

More like top 2 according to chris horner. Could very well win TA, catalunya and giro if he does not crash

Super cette vidéo avec cette nouvelle machine !!

Big screen in the upper right corner at 1:36 made it look like that was part of the course, an S-bend leading under the banner.
Nice
Pidcock and Van Aert is like when two boxers shake their hands after a furious fight
Good to see Roglic is back to winning ways. Hopefully, he will be able to compete in the Tour de France, barring injury.
Go Roglic!
Rogla!!
Wout and Tom are friends from there cross and country racing days.
Pleased to see Tao G H looking strong today.
It's bike racing. Crashes happen, even among the best bike handlers in the world. Glad they both seem to be ok, and no hard feelings.
Is there a country more beautiful/plenty of history than my Italy? I think no. Maybe Greece... but they don't have awesome medieval towns.
France?
🇵🇹
France has everything…history, culture, great food and wine, great bike racing but its full of 70 million French🤣🤣

Russia's not displayed for Vlasov
Wva caused that crash
It’s positioning at high speed. That can happen to anyone nothing he could do.
his teammate also closed the gap he wanted while pidcock moving backwards, don't think anyone caused it, just a poor few moves
@@liamwoods5353 yes this can happen in cycling just some bad luck…

It'll be good to see what he can do in the Giro! On a course that looks perfect for him.
As usual the commentator missed the pronunciation of all the italian names and words. So sad, absolutely not professional and disrespectful as well

What a boring recap. Show some enthusiasm.
could you guys get some more emotion in the commentary please, this is so plane and boring to listen to
