Beautiful footage. Presented in a way that you can see the realities of the lifestyle and Dili experience well. Nice to see familiar faces here. As a Kiwi myself, I find it interesting that many of the VSA volunteers I met were not born in NZ. More NZ’ers should apply as there is a special cultural and historical connection between us and the Timorese. VSA volunteers also need to brush up on Te Reo Māori and tikanga because that’s an aspect of cultural exchange that makes NZ unique and the Timorese respond positively to the language similarities, singing (waiata) and identify with customs around hospitality. Love both nations, we have so much to offer the rest of the world. ❤️🇹🇱🇳🇿🙏🏽

Here is some historical lesson that we need to remember !!
Indonesia as a Neighbor is still maintaining a good relationship with Timor leste !!
But there is a Bold underline painfull and bitter taste of History that Indonesian have to comprehend !!
Indonesian still keep the disapointment !!
During the referendum back 21 years ago !!
Its just like when...Sydney or Melbourne like to separate from Australia ...or...California State or Alaska state like to separate from United states !!
That is how most Indonesian feel !!
When...countries like...Australia and Portuegese...are just can not...put their hands off over some one else house Domestic affairs !!
And provokes the people of Timor leste !!
And Indonesia has gaving a Flag for those Countries that...has an Iritating hands over some one else house..matters and using Human rights issue as their Weapon of interest !!
Indonesia is learning their mistakes..and mapping the Countries that has a Mental problem and give some Red Flag to for anticipation !!

Wisata pantainya sangat sederhana, transportasinya jg masih pake angkot
kantor n perumahan NGO nya masih numpang2 (ngontrak) di rumah penduduk
