Hats off to the SriLankan Airlines staff for making it one of the safest airlines in the world. However, to compete with other regional carriers, SriLankan Airlines still has a lot to accomplish. The airline could benefit from a revolutionary change, such as acquiring a modern fleet like the A350 and upgrading to contemporary and unique cabin interior designs. SriLankan Airlines could also consider launching ultra-long-haul flights to destinations such as the USA, Canada, and New Zealand, etc..(but after a proper market analysis), positioning Colombo as a key transit hub in South Asia.

recently I fly to Male through Sri lankan air lines, but no any sri lankan sign on flight body and some seats are damaged and meanwhile few tourists complained about not having chicken buns and despite that Sri lankan steward offered them veggies despite their objection,,,,and both steward ladies behave like small kids having fun around talking sinhala rubbish and laughing through the flight no discipline....once steward lady pulled trash from my next seat and hit my water cup and she said.. oops 😂sorry😅both seems their late 20's
To develop tourists arrivals in numbers in to the country, Government shall put an intensive plan on to the table where foreign tourists all over the world to be privileged with a free of charge 3-months VISIT VISA along with each purchase of Sri Lankan Airlines air ticket (air passage over direct sales or via online) from any origin to Sri Lanka leaving behind that USD 50 per person revenue over on-arrival VISA.
