We start from the truck stop in Lewiston, ID to US-12. Then East on US-12 to US-95. Then South on US-95 thru several small towns, and mountain passes to near Riggins, ID where the stream crashed.
Back in my days as a company driver, circa late spring or early summer 1999, I was told to deadhead to Lewiston, Idaho after dropping a load in Usk, Washington. In Lewiston I got a load to Davenport, Iowa. I took US12 East over Lolo Pass. That was an extremely scenic but slow drive with about 150 miles of nothing but constant tight curves. I spent the first night of the trip with the tractor in Montana and the trailer in Idaho.
Wonderful landscapes in Idaho, especially the downhill from White Bird Summit and the Salmon river valley were amazing! This trip in the west was great, with so many new roads for me, thanks for your work, greetings from a road tripper from Germany!
