Just like biblical and historical evidence proves that jesus and his apostles were vegatarians biblical and historical evidence also proves that the trinity, atonement, original sin and hell are very late misinterpretations and are not supported by the early creed hence its not a part of Christianity I pray that Allah swt revives Christianity both inside and out preserves and protects it and makes its massage be witnessed by all people but at the right moment, place and time
The secred text of the Bible says ye shall know them by their fruits
So too that I say to my christian brothers and sisters be fruitful and multiply

Engrossing. Yet, I feel that the research misses out on
    1. The seven and a half churches that St. Thomas is said to have founded
    2. The divisions which occurred among the St. Thomas Christians post arrival of the Portuguese
    3. The later reformation movements, breaking away from the Antiochian hegemony on one side and the irrational conventions on the other
    4. The San Thome Cathedral where the mortal remains of.St. Thomas are kept.
But it is a marvelous production; the minor glitches in camera work is made up by the *excellent* narration which totally captures the fervor and essence of St. Thomas's mission.

It was clear to the Jews in ancient times that when the Mashiach (Hebrew for the Messiah or the Christ- the Anointed one) comes, as per the prophecies of the Tanakh, he would first proclaim his kingdom to the Jews and then to the Gentiles. After Christ's resurrection He gave the great commission to his Apostles (including Thomas) to go out into the world and proclaim the Good News (the Gospel) to all the nations. The Latin rite and the Syro Malabar rite (the state of Kerala, India) are the only two individual or Sui Iuris Churches within the Catholic Church which have a continuous Church history from the first century until today established by an Apostle. Hymns of St. Ephrem (4th century), a beloved saint from Syria describes the martyrdom of Apostle Thomas in India. The reason for the Apostle Thomas to arrive in India was because of a Jewish community that lived on the Malabar coast. Coins recovered from Kerala strongly support the idea of a flourishing Indian trade in spices with Arabia, Rome, China and other East Asian countries in the first century. It is reasonable to assume that Thomas started his ministry with the proclamation of the Messianic kingdom to Jews and then the natives. Early Christian writings of the third and fourth century about the missionary work in south eastern coast of India lend credence to the traditions that India had a strong Christian presence since the first century. Eusebius of Caesaria (4th century), a church historian and Bishop, wrote that Pantaneus visited India in 180 AD and says that he found a Gospel of Matthew written in Hebrew, left with the Christians there by St. Bartholomew. St. Jerome in his writings mentions a deputation sent from India to Alexandria. This deputation requested Demetrius (127-232 AD), the bishop of Alexandria (Egypt), to send Clement of Alexandria (150 AD- 215 AD) to India. These writings point to a Christian community existing in the first and second centuries in Kerala (India). As per the traditions of the St. Thomas Christians, Thomas established seven churches in south India. Today there are above 4 million St. Thomas Christians belonging to various denominations (Syro-Malabar Catholic, Syro-Malankara Catholic, Syrian Orthodox, Jacobite, Mar Thoma Church etc) in South India. During their worship, the liturgies of the Syro- Malabar Catholic Church and the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church specifically mention St. Thomas as the origin of their faith and have a deep reverance for this Apostle. The Cross used in worship by St Thomas Christians is found else where in Syrian Church of Mesopotamia pointing to its middle East connections from early centuries.

This is powerful, after the Spanish colonalized of Mexico, friar Diego Duran was investigating for Saint Thomas documents in Mexico,
The convents had been issued a decree by Charles V to preach the Christian word to native rural villages and Durán ventured into the villages frequently to converse with the natives there. The clergy were to also observe native customs and to search for ancient documents. particularly the lost Holy Scriptures of Saint Thomas (who was believed to have been the basis for the Aztecs' Quetzalcoatl).[4]

Nothing was settled then, Patrick Quyo.
You've mentioned the Gospel of John and Isaiah 9:6 have already settled your triune Roman god during the Roman church's Nicea Council on A.D. 325.
If the apostle John is alive today, he would tell you you've qouted him wrong.
John's Gospel contradicts your trinity, because we can read "God" 69 times referring to the "one and only TRUE God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Not to Jesus or the triune god of Rome.
The "Word was God" is the only "God" that refers to the Word, originally "divine" from Aramaic and not "God".
True indeed, because according to Jesus, there is "ONLY ONE TRUE GOD",(John 17:3) His Father alone.
And we must believe on Jesus, to be saved. (John 3:16-17)
Jesus was seen, but his God is invisible. (John 1:18)
Jesus was with God in the beginning. (John 1:1, 17:5)
Jesus obeys His God's will. (John 12:49)
Jesus ascended to His Father, whom He calls "my God". (John 20:17)
Jesus prays to His God. (John 17th chapter)
Jesus talked with His God (John 12:28) and God replied to Him.
The trinity god is Jesus is the Father is the Holy Spirit, and they are co-equal and one. But in John 14:28 Jesus said they're not equal, and in John 5:26 Jesus has his own life given to Him by His God, and God Himself has His own life.
They are TWO individuals, not one.
So many more texts in John's Gospel proving the ONLY True God is not Jesus.
And those are the very words of Jesus himself, written by John.
      The Gospel's story?
It's about Jesus proclaiming His God and Father as the ONLY True God.
It's about Jesus the only-begotten son sent by God as His Messiah, SAVIOR of humanity.
It's about the true Christians who worship the ONLY True God, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It's about the ONLY God of ISRAEL, the God of Moses and the Prophets. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Malachi 2:10)
The ONLY God of Jesus whom He have prayed and was being answered. (Hebrews 5:7)
The ONLY fact I know is, Jesus never declares himself as the God of Israel, or the only true God, as far as the Gospel of John is concerned.
Jesus have repeatedly taught his disciples His Father is the one and ONLY True God, according to the scriptures. And they, the original and the first Christians, believed in Him. (John 2:22)
About Isaiah 9:6, it never teach anything about the ONLY True God of Jesus.
That text has been used by trinitarians like you for hundreds of years now, with John 1:1, 10:30, 1John 5:7,20, 1Timothy 3:16, Titus 2:13, Romans 9:5, and a very few texts more to support and prove the trinity doctrine, vainly, and at the end conclusively declares the trinity god as a "mystery".
      Nothing was settled then, Patrick.
But do you believe in Jesus now?
How about His God and Father?
Will you please read John 2:22 again?
They're the true believers of Jesus.
And I agree with them, with their beliefs.
      Do you, Patrick?

Thoma or Teoma in Aramaic and Didimos in Greek both mean the twin. St. Thomas had a striking resemblance to our Lord as can be noticed in the earliest icon depictions. And Jesus was the first born of Mary. His siblings were born to Mary and Joseph.

He says this form is worship is not recognized in the western world . Go to a Traditional Catholic Latin Mass here the USA , Specifically in Downtown Houston (there others scatterd around the USA and Europe and you will see worship very similar. Martin Luther started his own church and along with many others and christian worship began to change. The Catholic Church maintained the type of worship similar to what you see here until 1969 . Then the rubrics of worship was changed and now its called the The Norvus Ordo Mass, means new order Mass. The theology of these people you see here is almost Identical to Catholicism as are most other Othodox Churches around the world. I would bet the theology of those Christian poeple in is almost the same. All those i mentioned here all give the Virigin Mary the Veneration she deserves , unlike the Protestants who dont even think of her. If you want to worship like the early Christians find a Catholic Tradition Latin Mass Church like the Fraternal Society of Saint Peter, or the Institute of Christ The King. Both have web sites.

@6:28 I don't agree with Fr. Jerry Murphy O'Connor's interpretation of the "brothers and sisters" of Jesus. The word for "brother" and "sister" in the original text of the Gospel can also man "cousin." Moreover, the early church is believed have to have re-imagined St. Joseph as an old man who was previously married as a kind of "false modesty" to "protect" Mary's virginity.
I believe the more likely interpretation is that St. Joseph was indeed a truly "just" man as the Gospel writer states who was given a special grace by God from early in life to be a chaste protector and guardian for both Mary and Jesus. He was simply every bit the man God called him to be as an earthly stand-in for God the Father and a foster father for the Christ child. St. Joseph fulfilled God's mission for his life.

This is heretical due to misinterpretation of the Bible translations…Bible scholarship has come much farther along since this was made. The original Greek of the Bible that people are mistranslating as “brother” was a word that also meant cousin as in the same extended family and living in the same house, it’s not the same limited definition we use in modern day English. This is the problem with translation b/c the true meaning of the text can get lost when it’s not translated properly.

It was Jesus who doubted the sincere faith of St. Thomas. Thomas really didn't doubt Jesus as much as he did Peter and the other Apostles who ran away from the crucifixion, except for St. John & Mother Mary who stayed by His side. How can he believe Peter who lied and said that he didn't know Jesus? Peter was the real doubter, not Thomas. There was no integrity in Peter's flatulent, cowardly words that he could hold on to. He had to trust his own faith & no others!

Thomas did not bring you candles , incense, fancy dressed preachers, statues of Mary . What Thomas
brought was called the Acts of Thomas , which was his encounter with his personal dealing with Jesus
which was suppressed as HERETICAL by the Western Church . This manuscript tells the forgotten story
of a missionary journey by Thomas one of Jesus 12 apostles to India . This is the true story , not the one
fabricated by the Orthodox Church ! Thomas' gospel spanned 20 years with the aid of miracles and
building churches . The Catholics priests were being routed by God , clearly Thomas brought
Christianity with him . The Orthodox Christians martyred him ,and the Portuguese Inquisition made
him Catholic ,and burned most of his manuscripts . This is Christianity in India today!!!

If Thomas came to Kerala and established churches with Jesus as the deity, then Jesus created Christianity and taught his disciples ( including thomas ) that he was God and Jesus also taught them how to build churches.
However, the truth is that Jesus only claimed to be a Messiah ( not a god ) and he was a practicing Jew. He did not create Christianity.

Apostle Thomas never came to India. He only visited the middle east where he was probably killed. People confused his identity with Thomas of Caana, a Nestorian Chrisitian who landed in Kerala fleeing persecution from the Romans who wanted to make Catholicism the only denomination. The San Thome cathedral in Chennai was the original site of the Kapaleeshwar temple which was destroyed by the Portuguese who came up with the fictional story of Thomas visiting the city and being killed which they used as an excuse to further their genocidal conquest.
