I just bought a pod at a local market in Florida and I cut it open totally wrong and cut through most of the beans. Stopped and found this video so I can get these to grow without any more mistakes. Thank you for the great video.
Wow thanks for this! My happiness was complete when i saw my first cacao tree now i have my own tree with so many cacao pods, and i picked one a week ago and i have so many seed that i will plant today! The conditions are perfect here in the Philippines! And I’m so in love with my cacao plants! Thanks for your video and your information take care and be safe! 🤗❤️
Hello Mister! Can you tell me if you can swallow the cacao seeds directly in the morning with water ? Will they be digested..or maybe we need to chew the roasted seeds first ? Just bought some.i heard they are good antioxidants and I am not sure how to consume for best results .
@@hansfritschi5724 thank you very much for the quick response..I am amazed you actually answered me...thank you so much ..I just took 6-7 seeds today swallowed..and I was afraid I will take them out the same way they entered :)) cheers have a great evening !
Hey Hans.
Yo hello Hans, just got my cocoa pods from Kerala India. They are yellowish in colour. 6 of them. I plan to use three of them for saplings and the remaining for trying out chocolate making.
@@hansfritschi5724 that is because three of them have partially cracked when I received the package today. It was Dispatched around 5 days back from Kerala to Gujarat. So I plan to use the cracked ones for chocolate and the intact ones for planting seeds. Is this okay ???
Mr Fritschi, I am looking for some seedling in Nepal is there any way you can manage to send me few of them bare root seedling by fedex or Ups delivery >? i will make all necessary payment arrangements including price for the seedling and delivery cost. I really appreciated.
Finally actual instructions...most videos on this subject fail to give actual instructions. Thank you. 😊
You are welcome.
Yes...chocolate industry is huge...they don't like to share how to successfully grow them in your backyard!
Well, I'm not convinced. The final results are not in the original container. Maybe a little deceiving.
@@rebeccaburkett4974do you know how planting a fucking tree works
Thank you do much for teaching me how to grow cocoa beans! Im getting some for christmas :)
It was my pleasure.
Great video. I have 12 seeds growing as we speak. The first ones have just started pushing the seed up. One of the nature's wonders.

This is not a coconut. This is a cocoa plant. Two completely different things.
I just received some seeds so I will plant some today. Great video.
Good luck.
@@hansfritschi5724 thanks! If the seeds are viable I should be able to sprout them. I have a nice indoor grow area with LED lights.
