For your watermelon discussion- the yellow spot is the "sun spot", it's the side that was on the ground when it was growing and the bigger the sun spot, the longer time it spent on the ground growing before being picked (if that makes sense?) Lol. The brown lines or "spiderwebs" is developing sugars, more brown= more sweet but I've found it also means almost too ripe. So I usually choose one with a medium size sun spot and a couple of brown spiderwebby markings.

How to pick the perfect Watermelon: -When you thump it, it should sound hollow -The lines on the side should be thick and broken up/not solid -It should have a large yellow spot on one side. This is the side it sat on while grew the darker/larger it is the more juice it has -it should have dark brown splotches or lines. These spots are where sugar is trying to seep through the rine, the more they have the sweeter it should be
With watermelons, you want the one with the biggest yellow spot OR with the most scratches on it because those are the sweetest. Kinda the same with jalapeños but just the little scratches/web looking things.

Aspyn, I don't want to make you nervous or anything but I ended up having endometriosis and I never had any pain or any symptoms other than cramps, and that was only on the first day. My mother had bad cramps too so I never suspected anything. I was also always on time (to the day). All of the symptoms people describe I never really had. Years later I ended up having a random ultrasound (for something else) and they found I had a grapefruit sized cyst on my ovary and discovered I had stage 4 endo (which is the worst). I was shocked. Again I'm not trying to scare you but if you can somehow get checked I would. :)
