My observation is the New Zealand defence is contacting Jamaica GS every time and not being pulled up for it, then down the other the Jamaican defence is being pulled up for contact, I feel not consistent or possibly conflict of interest, umpiring in favour of the New Zealand team
There were some stupid turn overs made by the jamaican team but I was disgusted by the bias calls made against jamaica by the umpires. It was like they were targeted. They did nothing right and that is one of the factors that through off their game.
And u could see how the bias umpiring really affected the targeted defensive circle, esp Sterling who was off her game as a result... wouldve been a really good match up.
NZ shooters playing the Jamaican defence out of that first quarter. Jamaica doing what England did in the first game-too many basic errors. NZ capitalising on the errors.
I thought if a shooter steps in and then moves the ball into the defense that was a contact? Both sides are giving as good as they get with contacts just sayin.
Again 50:07... Where was the obstruction from the GK?? There has been thousands of these terrible calls before this point.. I just got utterly fed up by end of 2nd quarter...
Jamaica should boycott this dam rubbish until umpiring is addressed, this has been going on since 93 . the styles are different, and umpires favor the style they play and consistently umpire. they hate Jamaicans flamboyance, they are very aware Jamaica is a confidence player, the consistently and deliberately try to stop the flamboyance an disrupt Jamaicas confidence
Umpiring terrible. In favour of NZ attack in the circle. But jamaica lacked fight except Stirling from 2nd qrt. 🇯🇲 Very hesitant. Struggled on centre pass
Would love to see a rematch , this new Zealand side is good ,but This Jamaican side with these silly unforced turn overs made them look greater than they are (but you can't fault them , the spoil is there take it punishigly .
There was a rematch... the final... and NZ won that??? What makes a great team is not what they COULD be but what they ARE. NZ capitalised on those "silly unforced errors" and didn't make too many themselves???
@@jasminewaakaaaronjackson7661 i see clearly you didnt think they were silly unforced errors (KIND OF INTERESTING ) BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT MOST COMMENTATORS AND TOP COACHES BELIEVES THEY ARE , YEP NOTED THAT.
No i definitely do think they were silly and unforced. But NZ capitalised on those errors and didn't make as many themselves. The final was closer, so Jamaica improved and showed what they're capable of. I think Jamaica's an amazing team and have some incredible talent. As a GK myself Shamera Sterling is an absolute force and so good to watch BUT again, Jamaica couldn't close the game and that's ultimately the main indicator.
@@jasminewaakaaaronjackson7661 Happy that you replied , fully well thought that's what you meant , just was looking clarity and confirmation , but dont get me wrong though New Zealand is and has always been a classy and gritty side (have mad admiration for there GA (wont attempt to write her name even as much ad i cant even pronounce it) but shes fit to fill MRS FORLOU SHOES

This umpiring was disgusting.. NZ could do no wrong whilst Jamaica getting called for NOTHING.. e.g... I see NO FOOTWORK @ 49:13... how ridiculous
Another note: why doesn't the 3ft rule apply to the NZ team? Just a rule for the Jamaicans?? Oh I see 🤔🤔

NZ too good!
Umpiring was neutral NZ was just the better team that day.
I thought umpiring was fair, the umpire made it clear to WA that she was dragging her landing foot
