- The perfect camera journey, seemingly ended with the Sony A7S III. Now things have taken a strange twist. At first, I just wanted a camera that was more flattering. Then it was ease of use as the main goal. Then full frame Toneh disease hit me. Now it's all about fun :)

hey Intellytech is cool but check out falconeyez or CLAR flexlights, they are a better flat light and cheaper so probably more willing to send you something
Kasey, you should check out the Insta360 One X2 and Go 2. the X2 is almost the same as the R but in an easier form if you don’t care for the 1-In Mod. I would keep an eye on the Next R2 or X3 using the updated sensor as the Go2.

The Scooter vlogs with the 360 camera have been some of my favourite ones. It illustrates the point you have made for years about how interesting it can be to see the context of where you are, rather than reducing everything to Toneh. For a few moments (embarrassingly long moments) I wondered what magic this? ... Eventually I noticed Kasey with selfie stick shadow under the harsh sunlight. I going to blame my slow pickup on the near death terror of Kasey being nearly run over by a car.

Kasey, you amaze me. You have mastered 360 editing skills in mere hours. Hiding a wireless mic on the camera frame can be done with a camera frame that has a cold shoe mount. Then you need a thin cell phone holder with tripod mount to attach your receiver. Rubber band all the cables tight to the receiver and keep everything parallel with the stitch line. The tascam worked great and won't get any interference from wireless signals when you ride through the city. Thanks, it's not the destination but the journey.

Yeah this is probably my favorite 360 camera with the one-inch mod. Lots of options and the one inch for okay night shots. I like you doing different things.

Here is an idea for a video. Attatch the 360 camera on top of another camera for a 2 camera vlog setup ( for walking, not scooter). How light can you get it to be. What camera and lens are best for this 2 camera setup? Love this style vlog. The wide angle makes it look like you are going superfast and makes things more interesting. Please don't die.

It's fun for the first time and the you'll never do it again. At least that's how it was for me, the filming might be fun but the editing is not, quality also isn't good and once it get a bit darker it quickly becomes unusable. This camera is fun in theory but worthless in reality
@@TheNitpicker I was wondering about the editing. It must be so time consuming if you are filming other stuff apart from yourself. Probably ok for a few short clips.

Oh you’ve got a PLEV...I vaguely remember you on this in an earlier video and now a 360 camera, It’s a great fun combination. You mention the Sony A7s111as the perfect camera, another video I missed. I can’t afford it I’ll make do with the A7C for now, I saw that one, or in a few weeks when I’ve sold the family heirlooms. insta360 is about it for 360 video at the moment. Qcam still isn’t right 18 months after launch. It’s good to see you out having fun after solving the quest... Skin tone’s not bad in this :-)

I discovered 360 cameras and they are great because you don't need to think about framing or stability or focus just turn it on and have fun. I use the insta360 One X2 along with my Sony RX100M7 and I'm happy. Most of my work is boring real estate photography & making 360 VR tours. Glad you touched 360. Great idea. From 🇹🇭

Congratulations! This is the first TH-cam video which made me seasick without an ocean. My recommendation is stick with the Sony A7S III.
I got Insta one R Twin pack 2-3 weeks ago. And I'm surprised how good and flexible 360 mod is. 4k mod is useless compared to 360 mod. This is probably perfect vlogging camera (for outside vlogs during daytime). I got this mic connector, but haven't tried it yet.
